Loving someone simply means you're committed to the person. It is a decision based on things you have seen or the character of the person. It is just like a typical example of mothers. Mother love their children but they can't be in love with them. Be in love is simply sexual committment and strong sense of intimacy. ( Kind of intimacy that you are so free and can practice any styles without being ashamed of each other) 80% of married couple love eachother but not in love and that's why you see lots of them cheating even with their gateman, maids etc... |

Here is the simple difference: 1) In love- When you're in love with someone, you will also love this person 2) But on the other hand you can love someone without being in love with that person. Giving, affection, closeness even honesty of course can be found in both but usually spring from quite different motives/intention |

Popesuccess:You can love how someone looks, love how they treat you, how they give u money, how they, laugh and behave...yet no be in love with them.... . but being in love with them is being emotional attached, biased, and vulnerable around them... |

Popesuccess:Very simple, you could be in love with a woman because she's attractive and sexy but not marriageable or doesn't have manner. But the most important thing is, love someone you're sexually attracted to.......... |

Loving someone means that you're the master of your emotion and action. This, by extension, means that whatever action, or otherwise, you extend towards the other party is majorly done logically and consciously. Realistically, selflessness always reigns supreme here, even though it does appear otherwise notionally. However, being in love/falling in love with someone means that you're a slave to your emotion, and this, by extension, entails that majority of the time, whatever action, or otherwise, you extend towards the other party is unconsciously done on impulse of the emotion which many a time are stupid actions/actions that are detrimental to you. Realistically, self-absorption/selfishness always reigns supreme here, even though it does appear otherwise notionally. |

Popesuccess:Loving someone means that you love who they are as a person and you care about them, but being in love with them means that who they are as a person is not enough to make you feel good to want to be relationship with them. Notice the bolded. it's about feelings. For example. You love someone because they have qualities that you care about and connect with, like God fearing, faithful, good mother to your kids etc, but because they don't understand who you are or validate your feelings or motivate you to be a better person, you may not be in love with them because they don't meet your emotional needs. |

´To love´ is sacrificial, ´being in love´ is self-serving. It is why it's called "Jesus loves you", not "Jesus is in love with you". When you love someone, you sacrifice for them, you do things in their best interest even if they don't reciprocate. You let them be with people they love even if you do not feature in the picture. Because Jesus loves you, he died for you even if you're an idol worshipper, or will wrap your marijuana with the Bible leaflet. He loves you beyond your shortcomings, and if you pray to him, he will forgive. That's true love. It's sacrificial. Now to be in love is like that girl who says she loves you, but insults you when you can't give her 5k. She is with you for her selfish interest, to pepper her enemies that her bf is rich, or sees you as a permanent cash cow. Only a few people can truly love, and the closest to that you'll get is between a parent and a child, not between couples. It's sad, but it's better than living in ignorance. |

Loving someone; you care and love based on the other's behavior towards you. Or it's part of your responsibilities to love them. In love with someone; you see this kind of feeling, you don't even hold on to any reason why you care so much about the person.... No matter the quarrels and fights, you still have a very soft spot for them. It's not based on what the person gives to or does for you. |

Unfortunately, you can be in love with your husband and the gateman at the same time, two sisters at the same time, two friends at the same time. On the kong run, one turns into infatuation while the other man or woman leaves you. The question is when does love turns into infactuation or when does infactuation turna to love. Time! |
