But since time is not on her side anymore, if she could swap dates with someone with a later appointment that is before August. Otherwise, last option would be to cancel the appointment last minute and be on the lookout for dates subsequently ( ps: I am in need of a Lagos date as my start date is June, so if your friend is willing to help, please let me know)

I don't know how date swapping works or if it has a backlash, her interview is on the 8th of may already, when is your date?

Me: I work at Xyz as a risk analyst (didn't talk further cus she wasn't paying attention)

That's where you goofed. You outed yourself that you were not being truthful. Companies looking to promote employees to sensitive positions requiring additional training typically would sponsor that employee. In this case, your company seeks to promote you to a position but is not willing to pay for the added training required for that position? Does it mean the training is not relevant to your job then?

Honestly, i just got a mail saying i have been approved to schedule a lagos f1 visa, after which i logged in and choosed a date.

For how long did you wait before you got the approved mail please?

For me it took up to a week. But it was lesser for other people i know. As short as two days

What if one secures a funded scholarship to assume a new role the company wants to employ pple in,and they also give you paid leave to further, is this one reasonable or same thing?

@everyone, A friend may not be able to attend her interview scheduled for 8th of may, she got the date on first attempt on scheduling, has never resheduled, her classes start August. What steps should she take in order to reschedule. Again will she notify the consular at lagos that she won't be attending due to unforeseen circumstances? Yes, I told the CGI lady and she said there is no problem with that. The most important thing is the DS-160 Name and International Passport Name.

Hello everyone, please I'm having a problem with getting a date in Abuja embassy. I can only see a recent date in cancel option but the reschedule option is always on 2024. Please has anyone encountered this before, what can I do to pick the recent date I always see in the cancel option.
