Tinubu is going no where.
He knows he didn't win the majority nor the constitutional requirement.

He believes he has acquired so much money and can buy the presidency and the constitution.

Yes he has bought many but he cannot buy the citizens of the new Nigeria. He is heading for a grevious collaspe.

The 25% is needed in Abuja, as there’s no governor in Abuja, therefore it’s required to have the 25% cuz you’re the president and governor of FCT. Also this is a federal issue not a state issue compared to adeleke.
You don't understand. Please download the constitution and read for yourself.

When supposedly intelligent people like you begin to sound, act and talk stupid......then something is really wrong.

Even if the court decides 25% in FCT is not a requirement, you Obi supporters will say the judges were bribed.....or you were robbed.

You are indeed the fascist Prof Soyinka is talking about.

Your perversed line of reasoning ONLY or no reasoning at all.

Continue to stand logic on its head. Mumu

maestroferddi:
People like you exist all over the place...

You don't know jack but you think you know so it becomes very difficult to teach you.

If the Nigerian constitution stipulates expressly that Adeleke needed to win 25% in Osogbo to be declared winner of Osun guber election, he wouldn't have been declared the winner if had won 99.9% of votes cast in the remaining 29 or so local government of Osun State...

That is how the law works...There is no sentiments or lazy generalisations...

Winning the round of an election is no guarantee of winning the second or third round...

We have instances all over the world where the winner of the first round got defeated in subsequent rounds.

You Tinubu supporters have to be among the most ignorant and mischievous humans on the face of the earth..

Other states are important. You need the same 25% in most of the "other" states grin grin

That section of the constitution was deliberately written to ensure that southerners struggle for the number 1 seat. Would northern legislators pass such legislation if Lagos or Onitsha were to become Nigeria's capital? Would they accept a 25% clause in Onitsha?

The pit they dug has swallowed them all. They should deal with it.

Nothing is special about FCT, you guys are so ignorant and lazy to read the constitution. FCT is like a state. So literally we have 37 states. It's not a must you have 25% in FCT

I don't think PMB won the FCT at 2019,yet he was declared the president. What do you have to say to that?

The 25% is needed in Abuja, as there’s no governor in Abuja, therefore it’s required to have the 25% cuz you’re the president and governor of FCT. Also this is a federal issue not a state issue compared to adeleke.

Abuja people alone can't decide who rules Nigeria, Nigeria consist of 36states and one FCT, if it were to be the way you see it then there is no need conducting elections in other states since Abuja alone determines who becomes the president. The law is very clear, I wonder why you guys are twisting it.

It's not actually what it should be; it's what it's currently. Granted that it may be a flawed section of the law, but as far as it's still not been amended to State otherwise, It remains binding.

There re worse sections in the constitution that are not what they should be, yet they are standing why not this one?
