This dollar Fintech are charging extra

Dollar on the black market is 762
Fintech is charging minimum 774

Over 12#

When you can buy from aboki for 762

Opening a Dom account is free in zenith bank
I did not have to make any deposit instantly even

Don't be deceived, unless you're the type who buys in large quantities, running domiciliary accout is not as easy as you think. Your Bank may not charge you for account opening now, but believe me, by the time they start deducting their charges, you'll be shocked. Some people have tried it but decided to make a retreat after discovering that it looks like unprofitable venture.

Moreover, who has the time to start looking for Aboki to buy dollar when you can easily activate a virtual dollar card within the comfort of your room?

Besides, it is possible to get dollar at the official black market rate of 762 naira/ $. This is for those with crypto knowledge on Binance.

Would CBN not close your account if you are caught dealing in crypto

When does buying dollar with naira amount to an offense? I don't know what you meant by dealing in crypto, but am using the word here as a generic term for currencies that can be purchased with naira on Binance . If the CBN considers buying dollar, for instance, at black market to facilitate foreign transactions illegal, then I expect it to have closed down BDS operations.

Open an account with binance. Then use GTB naira card to buy BUSD on the P2P on Binance. Go to gotok and fund it with Binance Pay
Abeg at what rate will I be buying dollars worth this method? Is it significantly cheaper?

You will only be caught by CBN if you are careless to add any crypto related term on the remarks for any transactions. Do not state that you are paying for crypto in your transaction remarks, terms like busd, trx, bnb etc

I believe Binance is not a traditional finance company or mainstream bank but rather a company setup to facilitate crypto currency trading.
To buy the crypto currencies you do need to change your local money to the us dollar and they provide the mechanism for that. The problem is that CBN does not like crypto and being Nigerian they could unilaterally declare you guilty by association and freeze the bank account which will not be funny if it is your main bank account.
To me this is like one of those people who build expensive houses on land not approved by the government. One day the government will show up with a caterpillar.Binance is not yet flagged but might be flagged one day. The gotok app is safer.I have been known to be wrong before though .so no worries if you feel confident

I get you but my bank has not charged me a dime on my Dom account before maybe this will change in the future I don't know.

The option of crypto payment is good.

Going by your explanation, we'd conclude that Binance is not the only culprit here, but the likes of PayDay, Chipper Cash, Klasha, Gotok and so on should also be classified as Illegal because they too provide platforms for the exchange of dollar with the local currency. My question then is, "is the CBN not aware that these fintech companies exist?" Anyway, as somebody said up there, we'll start employing another term instead of the world 'crypto'.

Please guys, can ups custom clearance be negotiated?

My friend had an iPhone 11 shipped for him through ups.

Ups are saying he has to pay 90k+ for clearing the phone.

Is this proper?

Can it be negotiated?

Just copy and paste ONLY reference number. Not hard, but trust some Nigerian buyers to add "payment for BUSD" in their reference grin grin

You have to create a new card: select the home button and click on the + sign at the top of your current card and you'll see the new options....
You can easily see the naira rate /$ when you add dollar amount to purchase.

Just saw it now.

Gotok is doing well smiley

I live in ikorodu, but I just noticed the opened a new office at owutu agric recently so they tend to ship all items coming to ikorodu First at owutu and begins redistribution there, I had in time past collected orders from Sabo and ikorodu garage but now I enjoy home delivery.

I have always had a good relationship with them, I receive my orders at my door step even on all my economic shipping, I am their regular customer almost every week and their customer service replies me swiftly. They call me to ask if or when I will be around so as to deliver it to me and If I won't be around my wife receive any item on my behalf. Take one of their dispatch rider as a paddy, treat him well, he will be the one to share your testimony to others and you won't believe the way dey will be dragging your item anytime dem see your name....sound too good? I give alot to them and they inturn treat my packages well....Just my experience
klasha black card is available due to update but their support is saying I can use the pink card for aliexpress transaction. Do you know anyone who has used it before?
Re: This Thread Is Only For Aliexpress Shopper by LarryVino: 1:29pm On May 23, 2023
You don't even need a Dom account if you don't want to. Just go to any of these banks and get a dollar prepaid card for like $3 (That's the amount UBA charged me for their prepaid dollar card). Buy dollar from Aboki at a cheaper price than all these klasha and gotok and deposit it in the bank. More effort but it's worth it in the long run. You guys just keep on buying dollar at a higher price.
