Anyway,
I said I ain't going there for studies

Please,

Give me head up

Look for a cheap school in Nova Scotia that would allow you run your program online while you are in Canada. Your legal status will be a student while you can move to any other province and do your legal stuffs

I guess you ordered from inside Canada,that's why it took 17days to arrive. Mine has been over 2months and i'm yet to receive it.

Yes I ordered within Canada, hang in there, might be closer than you think or do you want to re-order it from Canada?

Yes I have identified a few schools. Colleges to be precise.

I guess that's the first step. Choosing a program of study, a program pathway (Postgraduate Diploma) and focusing on an entry window (Winter 2024)

Is there a way we can talk in private

Pls guys can 12m naira get me to Canada via student visa
Not actually, going there for study's
Just wanna use student visa enter for legit hustle

Even 9m will get you into Canada if you strategize on it very well.

Let me give you the analysis;

Tuition fee $18,000 for a one-year course
Living Expenses $10,000/yr.
Miscellaneous Expenses $3000.
TOTAL: $31,000. Using the official CBN rate of $1/345, this is equal to NGN 10,695,000.

Meanwhile, the tuition fee quoted above is one of the most expensive because you can get a one-year course for as little as $10,000+.

The above is not based on theory but practical.

That 12m may not get u in cos by the time u add up expenses and tuition d 12m might not be enough to cover ur pof .
But I will advise u look out for reliable agent with enough testimonies , u may not spend up to 2 or 3m and dem go run am .. dos reliable agents get as dem dey arrange enuf pof for their clients nd every oda supporting docs for d visa application. Just dat na unreliable agents plenty pass for street now … lol

I am not in anyway disputing what you have just said but I want to correct where you said 12m may not be enough.

I am 100% sure that 12m will be enough. Even 9m will be enough if he targets a school with tuition fee of $12,000 or less and he does Form A.

There is a strategy to this. You just have to get the concept right.

Please which is better, using a parent as sponsor or having them send me the funds so as to apply as self sponsor

Even though if they send the funds into your account, they must still be referred to as your sponsor.

Having the money sent into your account is better.

Hello Gurus, I would appreciate if someone can help answer my question;

I was admitted to Fanshawe college for Jan 2024.
I just finished paying my tuition fees of almost 20kCAD
I intend to buy a GIC in July for POF and also apply for my Visa in late July.

I have a BSC in computer Engineering from Sweden but I got admitted to Fanshawe college for a PGD in Business Analysis, although I worked as a customer support representative in sweden for about 2 years after completing my BSC in Computer Engineering, but I don't have employment letter or anything to show that I actually worked as a Customer support representative here in Sweden. I currently work as a production worker in an Automotive company also in Sweden for 1.4 years, I have my work contract, payslip, employment letter from this job.

My question is;
Do you think not having my previous employment letter or payslip, etc is going to have a negative effect on my application? How can I bypass this and get a PPR

IRCC does not intend to investigate the source of your funds so long it is not a lump sum as study permit application is quite different from Express Entry. Only the source of lump sums are required to be addressed.

You just need to explain that your funds emanated from past savings which you have accumulated from your past and current jobs which can be evidenced by your employment contract, offer letter or employment reference letter.

You need no paystub/pay slip, it is only in Express Entry they need those to justify your work experience and the fact that you really worked for the employer you are claiming to have worked for and not for the sources of your funds.

Meanwhile, you must explain the source of LUMP SUMS if any because they don't want you to go borrow this fund.

Greetings Everyone

I don't know if this is the right group for this
I'm rounding up my MBA and I want to go for my PhD in Alberta but my challenge now is I wouldn't mind waiting for a PR even though it's longer as my CRS score is high (around 574) so as to come in as a PR before starting my PhD. Is it advisable I go through the PR route as it enables me become a citizen as at when I will be done with my PhD or I should just go through the student route?

Thanks

If you have time to wait to get your PR before starting your PhD, going the PR route is the best because of the followings;

1. Low tuition fees about 1/3rd. PR holders and citizens pay way less than international students.
2. Bursaries.
3. Study loan from the Government of Canada.
4. Scholarships for Canadians and PR holders.
5. Free health insurance.
6. Subsidized housing.
7. No struggle in bringing in your family members. All of you get PR at the same time.

Pls house does Canada compare first visa application information that was refused to anoda application that one tendered to check if information changes or each will be treated differently?

Yes, they keep records. You must be consistent with the information you give out. In fact, they will ask you in your application.

You can imagine if they can go as far as investigating your past visa refusals/applications with the US, the UK, New Zealand, Australia etc, how much more do you think they would do with information at their fingertips.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Igbonaijaboy: 6:30pm On May 29, 2023
Yes, I am legally living here. I have every document to back my current Job. I just sent my previous company a message, hopefully they can give me a reference letter. Thank you for your guidance

I will answer this based on my little experience as one who applied from abroad as well. Based on what you have stated above, you have work experience and i believe you also have your work contracts (or atleast a current one with the Automotive). In my opinion, it should suffice as long as you can back it up with atleast 3payslips. Focus on the current ans if possible supply them with upto 6 payslips of your current. Also ensure you get a reference letter from the former place you worked. That will help backup the information about your previous work experience. Lastly, you have a VERY good chance as long as you are legally resident in Sweden. Goodluck!
