So when I hear Africans talk like it's a clear cut NATO entering a sovereign a nation and stamping it's authority, I wonder where the ability to reason is. Almost every country has been at the same situation Africa has been in but most of them are doing well, look at china, in the 1980s Nigeria had a larger GDP than them but now they have twenty times the GDP of Nigeria. Even Korea and vitenam plagued by years of wars are doing better because they know how to work in their best interests.

Africa's problems are not just their leaders, it's the people and systematic corruption deep into their core, they start a movement but take money to shut it down.
Turkey, Russia, socialist Korea, even the US were ruled by bad government at one point in time but the people came together and organized a revolt not caring about blood she'd they achieved their goals.


But one thing is also to be noted, the borders of Africa were poorly drawn, taking Nigeria, Cameroon,South Africa or even congo for example it's too divided ethnically to function as a country, this same issue plagued the Soviet Union and Yugoslavia. And it's affecting more than 50% of African nations.
The first step for Africa is redesigning their borders, no country can work without some sort of nationality and similar ethnic background if not it would end in a brutal dictatorship.

Africa is its own problem, corruption, ethnicity and religious divide has eaten the continent to its core and this ideology is passed on to their children and generation making it hard for any meaningful progress. Coupled with bad unqualified leaders, this makes me feel they need to be invaded and re educated to even begin to attempt nation building.l, because it's seems to me that colonial and freshly independent Africa, exempting the brutal racism and torture was better in terms of standard of living

I went on excursion to a paramilitary camp in Yakutsk, Russia, (coldest city in the world) to make some video documentaries about some vintage Russian tanks they have there. (I am still editing those documentaries)

However, at the end of my shooting (the main video) I decided to do something crazy. Walk up to Russian military (A general and a field soldier). I asked the Russian General to say hello to Nigeria and he gladly did it even with a salute!


I asked the soldier boy to say hello to my favourite Nairalander ( falseprophet1 ). (His funny false prophecies always make my day! One of the reasons why Nairaland is still so much fun for me ) He understands English to some extent, so he bursted out laughing realizing that someone's name is 'falseprophet'

We reside in Vilnius, Lithuania and also stay in Nigeria many months of the year due to work. I can boldly say the people of that country are very happy and glad to be in the EU and NATO. They have experienced economic growth and have over time developed the capacity to defend themselves.

How Nigerians defend evil is not surprising because after all the tribal divide within Nigeria have sown the seed of hate. Assuming Lithuania wasn't part of NATO, they would have suffered the same faith as Ukraine. But I am happy they are and I can happily live peaceful with my husband and kids in Vilnius.

You scream Western propaganda when in fact the person you defend is worst off and the chronic propagandist. My advice to most of you on here is to travel out and experience people and their culture close up.

Everyone talks about western hypocrisy towards Africa, now the question is how can they help when the leaders are not civil enough to do the right thing? That question showed me what the typical white man thinks about you and your continent. Regardless of Russia or west, they all have Darwin natural selection principles as their core beliefs about Africa. The Chinese coming in are also seeing the same, failed mindset and failed people.
