You are correct about the borders, I have studied Africa for a while and noticed how diverse the continent is. I was on a trip to sokoto north western Nigeria and I saw a good number of Northerners that spoke Libyan dialect of Arabic and some Arab looking people in a remote village. I also wondered how Nigeria as a whole have managed itself. Although one bonding Factor is the religion aspect. I say this because my wife complaints about certain tribes, brings back history and other things but the irony is that her pastor is from that tribe. So because of that her anger ends with just ranting, which I find funny. My country have Russia population, which was forced on us because of Bolsheviks movement. But we happy we join NATO because we would have been part of the salami slice military doctrine of Russia.
So yes people that share the same identity and culture is very important. It is what is been currently exploited by Russia in the east European region. Just the way European powers did in Africa during colonial period.

I have gone through the post my husband have posted in order to give you an answer. His focus from all his mentioned is on his country and the danger Russia posses to them and misconception Africans who don't know the history of his country and the region.

We reside in Vilnius, Lithuania and also stay in Nigeria many months of the year due to work. I can boldly say the people of that country are very happy and glad to be in the EU and NATO. They have experienced economic growth and have over time developed the capacity to defend themselves.

How Nigerians defend evil is not surprising because after all the tribal divide within Nigeria have sown the seed of hate. Assuming Lithuania wasn't part of NATO, they would have suffered the same faith as Ukraine. But I am happy they are and I can happily live peaceful with my husband and kids in Vilnius.

You scream Western propaganda when in fact the person you defend is worst off and the chronic propagandist. My advice to most of you on here is to travel out and experience people and their culture close up.

Everyone talks about western hypocrisy towards Africa, now the question is how can they help when the leaders are not civil enough to do the right thing? Look at the way China is rising at the speed of light. Now imagine if it conducted elections every now and then across the board. Before you know it, majority will elect one fool and the fool will ruin the great accomplishments of his predecessors. This is what we face in Africa today. Majority come together to elect nonentities everywhere.

I have gone through the post my husband have posted in order to give you an answer. His focus from all his mentioned is on his country and the danger Russia posses to them and misconception Africans who don't know the history of his country and the region.

We reside in Vilnius, Lithuania and also stay in Nigeria many months of the year due to work. I can boldly say the people of that country are very happy and glad to be in the EU and NATO. They have experienced economic growth and have over time developed the capacity to defend themselves.

How Nigerians defend evil is not surprising because after all the tribal divide within Nigeria have sown the seed of hate. Assuming Lithuania wasn't part of NATO, they would have suffered the same faith as Ukraine. But I am happy they are and I can happily live peaceful with my husband and kids in Vilnius.

You scream Western propaganda when in fact the person you defend is worst off and the chronic propagandist. My advice to most of you on here is to travel out and experience people and their culture close up.

Everyone talks about western hypocrisy towards Africa, now the question is how can they help when the leaders are not civil enough to do the right thing? How can the west help when the leaders embezzle billions and keep embezzling billions? Africans are real hypocrites and should look themselves in the mirror.

You think the Russians and the Chinese respects you? Go to institutions in europe and including Russia and see how they use Africa continent and the form of leadership as bad examples. How democracy failed and how communism failed and how socialism failed.

They are all in awe as to how a continent with so much people and resources can be so so docile and manipulated. As a guest lecturer in saint Petersburg 4 years back, I was asked by a student this question
if every form of government have failed in Africa, won't it be fair to say they are dead weight to the global system? When I asked for further explanation, he said failed government means failed system, failed country means high poverty which leads to diseases and immigration. Immigration brings diseases and failed mindset. Therefore posing threats to a stable and advanced civilization.

That question showed me what the typical white man thinks about you and your continent. My husband is an exception because he conducted more humanity projects than all the leaders of Africa put together. Regardless of Russia or west, they all have Darwin natural selection principles as their core beliefs about Africa. The Chinese coming in are also seeing the same, failed mindset and failed people. So they recycle what others have done.

So keep the path of fighting over who's pushing propaganda and who's the lesser devil.

It's only you and your region Russia showed shege, this is why you hate Russia... Just as the west showed India, and Africa shege and the region also feel same hate... Russia did Africa no wrong, and its ridiculous for the west to think them of all region can talk its way into making Africans hate there greatest enemy....

Any white man that sees this your post will think everyone in Africa live under bridge and ride bicycle all there lives. You want Africa to shift more support to the region that terrorised, tortured and subjected its people to slavery ? Just like that ? Just as your husband said, the west should fully be blamed for Nigeria failed political system for joining three tribes that shouldn't have been joined together...
