The Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Media Centre says the president’s statement that petrol subsidy had stopped was not a new development but a restatement of the federal government’s intention to end subsidy by June.https://www.thecable.ng/subsidy-removal-not-immediate-tinubus-media-team-asks-nigerians-to-stop-panic-buying/amp

Always saying stupid things at the sight of microphone without reasoning, subjecting Nigerians to unnecessary suffering.. See how his careless statement pushed Nigerians to hardship since morning ... His handlers should advice this drug addict to seek their opinion before making a public statement.. All in a bid to sound as a decisive leader of agboros, he ended up embarrassing himself with subsidy talk... Only a confused clown speaks without direction ! |

If this u-turn story is accurate, spare a thought for his supporters who argued yesterday that the immediacy of the subsidy removal was unavoidable. Now they have to spin the postponement as another evidence of Tinubu's earth-shattering sagacity and wisdom. |

Honestly, government of clarification should end with Buhari. Before any pronouncement, every word should be confirmed by the president people. Let's have direction for once. Irrespective of your expectations now, scarcity has come to stay and the elites are going to make insane amount of money from this. They will buy at subsidized rate and hoard before selling at inflated rate due to the artificial scarcity created |

Confusion everywhere. Nigerians brace yourselves for tough days ahead because we are our own worst enemies. See the speed at which these hopeless marketers and filling stations began hoarding fuel. Before we blame the government, let us look inwards. Nigerians are terrible and greedy. The problem now is will marketers and filling stations comply? Some are already selling as high as 500/L in Lagos. |

“He was merely communicating the status quo, considering that the previous administration’s budget for fuel subsidy was planned and approved to last for only the first half of the year. “Effectively, this means that by the end of June, the Federal Government will be without funds to continue the subsidy regime, translating to its termination. Are obidients daft or blinded by hatred? |

God have mercy... This man is already making U-turn on his first official statement. Effect of talking before thinking. Although, subsidy removal is good and necessary but he did not do it in the right and proper way. Knowing the kind of country and people in the country, he should have put some instruments in place before going public with that statement. It is well sha! |
