i supported Obi but had no choice than to stand with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as soon as he was sworn in.
I've never been an apc supporter.
This is my first time because we Nigerians trust in Tinubu, He is our messiah and the hope of Nigerians, he shall rule over us for ever and we Nigerians shall serve him.
He did it by transforming Lagos and we all saw it, he shall do it again by transforming Nigeria and lead us to Canaan

Even though Jagaban lacks oratory skills I think we Nigerians are wicked to ourselves. Suddenly petrol dealers have hijacked the situation. Too bad

Confusion everywhere. Nigerians brace yourselves for tough days ahead because we are our own worst enemies. See the speed at which these hopeless marketers and filling stations began hoarding fuel. Before we blame the government, let us look inwards. Nigerians are terrible and greedy.

The problem now is will marketers and filling stations comply? Some are already selling as high as 500/L in Lagos.

A wise president will put controls in place to prevent hoarding and flood the market with petrol before making this pronouncement. The words of a new president are powerful especially on day 1. The market will always react to presidential pronouncement

Why won't Mr president make complete statement on fuel subsidy and be specific on when it will end. Just giving Nigerians High BP on day one in the office. May God help us

Sigh... It doesn't matter whether anyone supports or doesn't support Tinubu!

Either way, he remains the President!

Insulting people for not supporting him or for criticizing him makes no sense!

Whether you love or hate the sitting President, his policies will affect everyone for good or bad!

See them quick to rush to start cursing and abusing person old enough to be their father talk less a President.
If I may ask what is the difference between now and the end of June ? As if at last the subsidy will not go.
Hatred as becloud most of them to the extent of not seeing anything good from him.

But you thuggishly implored undiscerning youth to truncate the removal then
Leave all the rhetorics, because the news is filled with it .
...by June, what does that effectively mean....?
Give a veritable program with dates let's see whether you are who they say you are.......
See these people sha.....?!
.....some are saying ..." Nigerians should suffer some more....".....

It sounded like what will happen and not immediate but as at this afternoon, fuel was N550/litre in a city and eventually the government will still be blamed. Sometimes, we're the problem not the government.
Re: Subsidy Removal Won’t Take Immediate Effect - Tinubu Clarifies by Olaideolayemi(m): 6:50pm On May 30, 2023
The blame is the filling station, not the speech, because we have already heard it that subsidy won't be available after June, it's because the man has prepared the speech that's y,he said so.. but not too late..A day is just off.. therefore filling station to sell, and even the president should planned on fuel and explained on how it can be affordable..

I dey tell you my brother. Those people that oppose subsidy removal back then are the one talking about removal now. Wish the kind of protest that was mobilised back then could be mobilise this time around.

Whenever I see people whose comment shows they reason with their anus instead of their brain, I just weak!

Mr. Man can you explain the difference between 'the subsidy is gone' and 'I have removed or will remove'...whatever? Is it not saying the same thing?

If you want to defend the government or anybody for that matter do so intelligently and in a way that shows you are honest and have integrity.

Factually, the issue of petrol subsidy has been on the front burner for quite some time of wish most Nigerians are aware of.

Tinubu merely stated the obvious!

Subsidy is a drain on our earnings with little or nothing left to address other critical sectors of the economy.

At this rate, it's near impossible to achieve any meaningful progress as a country. The present system only favours a few people.

Again, that he made the announcement shouldn't trigger immediate scarcity and price increase if we truly have love for country and countrymen.

The average Nigerian is naturally greedy, ungodly, wicked and selfish.

Why the self-inflicted pains just because of an announcement for an already subsidized commodity meant to last up to June ending?

Let us individually take a look at the mirror and we shall find the enemy.

If you're sensible enough, you should know the subsidy was removed a day before Buhari handed over to Tinubu. Do your research well

Your days are numbered that you will comment no more. This is not Buhari who tolerate all manners of comments or insult . This is Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in power. You will be fished out ,if like hide inside an ant hole ,we will get you. If you don't know how to address the elders talk less of the president of Nigeria ,then, you shut you shut your mouth than to put your self in trouble.
Now, that we are coming for you. Run !

Stop arguing blindly...

A leader should evaluate things before making proclamations...

What Tinubu meant is irrelevant...What is relevant is that his careless speech threw the system into a shock...

You don't defend the indefensible...

Let the shock continues...Subsidy is gone and gone for good.

I won't support the school of thought that feels Tinubu should have announced this later into his administration...no way! It would have been seen by majority of Nigerians as if it's his policy.. because we forget thing in this country.

So, it's better he is all out and out on this categorical statement that, he is inheriting what is already a LAW..that's Subsidy has not budgetary provisions in 2023 budget beyond June.

Compare 2014 economy to 2023 and tell me how you're making any sense here. In 2023 where things arent stable yet is it on the first day of inauguration you do that?

Feel free to quote me again once you've delivered yourself from ignorance and lack of exposure please
