over priced piece of shit.

Overpriced piece of shit, yes! Have you ever wondered why despite bn a piece of shit as you call it, still, it remains the preferred destination of every Nigerian and in particular, your brothers leaving the East for the first time in search of greener pasture. grin grin grin Don't quote me, ask Nollywood producers from the East - as far back as early - mid 90s when Nollywood came in to prominence. Hate it or like it, nothing can work against Lagos. Even neighbouring African countries use lagos as their start-up point.

I remember during the election period she was running her mouth: 'Lagos government is not working, we will chase them out, We are in bondage'.
Now Lagos is ready to work. The change is starting from you. It is either you pay your tax or go to jail. Where do you think government get money to do all these things you demanded for? To build roads, electricity, hospitals. Through money ritual or plucked from tree? Pay your tax iyabo. Your lamentation sob-stories cannot save you. Fvcking defaulter.

The entity was asking the Lagos State Government if they had ever offered her any assistance with her business and that she that single-handedly raised her kids blah blah blah. Is this Iyabo or a body-double? The same Iyab0 Ojo who antagonised Sanwo Olu's bid for a second term in exchange for social media validations. The 'I am Yoruba, but I don't think in Yoruba" gang.

This werrey was alleged to have declared a 40m naira return as income. This same faker declared she bought a dress of N37.5m for AMVCA award, and even threatened to sue a guy that recreated the dress at cheaper price. But crying over tax of N18m.

Please, Iyabo dont pay. You already brought the issue to social media instead of appealing or beg for mercy secretly. The same social media peeps you have always been trying to please will be the one to buy bread for you to eat your prison beans. Please dont pay within 7days. Nonsense ! Omo ale oshi
so, because of that they should witch hunt her abi? Hear yourself

Revenge not in the picture even I might have mistakenly made it look like that.

Urchiins that haven't paid a penny as tax in the life time are here running their mouth because she supported a party of her choice.

If what they support today comes around to haunt them tomorrow they will begin to blame devil while they are the devil.

Its her right to support whosoever she want. You can't decide for her who to support, it is not also the right of the government to fax a citizen arbitrarily.

This politics of bitterness that Yoruba people seem to be enjoying today will be their greatest undoing tomorrow.

18m for even dangote as an individual is too much.

Be careful what you wish for. Tax evasion is a criminal offence in most countries. The prison term may not also exempt the person from paying what is owed.
This case is different from that of tax evasion. Because the person in question is not disputing neither is she trying to runaway, the person acknowledges the sum but just couldn't afford. How then does the person generate the acrued sum if put behind bar?

Do you know more than the Lagos IRS?

She has a right to contest figures, is not like she is mandated to without contesting. I myself would never agree to such.

But in her quest, she need be sure of the figures she is presenting, cos even as at now, interest already accumulating on that 18m

Waving tax for high employers of labour is not a new development. It is done in every advanced nation to encourage them.

You can do your research and feedback, and we continue from there.

Lol. Your government knows what it is doing. Waving taxes for employers of labour is just to shift the burden of unemployment away from the government.
And again, Dangote and BUA companies are constructing roads free of charge based on the agreement between them and the government to wave taxes for them for a stated period of time.

So if she goes to jail for 6month does that cancel the 18mil?

Pls educate Me
. I haven't thought of this aspect though. I'm unsure what the law says here. Maybe one can get fined, lose some amount of money as forfeiture. But i doubt if one would be compeled to pay back the complete sum of which he or she is being purnished

Everything they run to Instagram cos they expect my ibo brothers to start wailing against the Lagos state govt.

Rather than approach a court she ran to Instagram to seek an out cry from the children of hate who never want to see anything good happen in this country.

Watch how the bitter souls will invade this thread.

I blame Lird Luggard for this dirty union with the ibos.

Never again

Or rather than ask them to provide the basis of the assessment

Many people don't know the powers of a tax agency. This matter she's into may lead to them jail and auctioning her items, and if not enough to defray the tax liability, declare her bankrupt.

In any case, whichever way you look at it, she's on a long thing in terms of negotiations, legal costs, negative publicity, time wasted, etc

She is not denying, she is not running away and she acknowledges the due sum! Failure to meet deadline can only result in misdemeanor if charges are pressed which shouldn't carry a sentence of not more than six months behind bars. Under this current economic 'sukar-spree', i would gladly trade the bars for the milz. No time grin

So you think tax defaulting is simple shebi, you people and ignorance is like 5 and 6,she will pay the tax even after going to jail, her properties will be taken over to cover the tax amount.
