Please for those that went for biometrics, was it the official statement from the bank branch you went with? Reason I'm asking this. I use fidelity and there's an option to send statement to the embassy. Does this suffice or I have to get it from the bank. My date is Tuesday and I can't get the physical statement on Monday as it is a public holiday. Or is there an option to push my date forward |

Jerulo:Is it self upload or assisted service you booked for? Don't you have a bank app? Download the bank statement from your app and go to café and print |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Thegamingorca(m): 7:33am On Jun 11, 2023 |
Jerulo:If you send any statement to the embassy, you will be shocked at how much you will be charged by the bank. Another thing is since the bank won't have your GWF number how will they expect the embassy to know which visa application the statement is for? |

Bmuhd4smile:Sorry for replying late, I didn't see your message on time. I was still a student in the uk by the time i applied so i used the following: 1. Student ID card 2. Letter from school confirming I am a student 3. 4 months bank statement (I had about £6000 in it as the closing balance) 4. Hotel Reservation 5. Flight ticket booking (i paid an agent 10k to help me with this booking) 6. My travel itinerary (Typed a word document to show places i wanted visiting within the days i will spend in canada) 7. International passport 8. My Travel history (only travelled to germany at that time). The application took 7months before it came out last month. |

Good morning all, Please i applied for a UK visit visa for my aunt but there was no visa stamp on her passport yet no refusal letter was sent to her email including spam mail. Can someone kindly help me with the link with which i can request for the refusal note? I understand that i will be charged for some money. Thanks |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Thegamingorca(m): 1:01pm On Jun 11, 2023 |
Pekela:Have you checked the passport thoroughly? The stamp is usually well hidden somewhere in between or close to the end ![]() |

Hi guys. I applied for Dependant Visa and from the tracker, my application is still in the received by DMC stage but I got an email from BRP saying my visa is successful. It’s safe to say I have gotten the visa right? And I should expect collection of passport soon even though it’s still in the received by DMC stage. Am I correct in my thinking? |

When you put in the COS number, the system automatically does the exclusion of IHS if the COS falls under health and care visa category gbens2000: |

It was self service I did and yes I can download it from the app and print. It was someone that was making it sound like I must get it from the bank. Thanks for this. I will use the downloaded one. Good luck to us all Thegamingorca: |

kenemike:I don't think your visa status(either positive or negative) would be confirmed to you by any individual. The highest dey say is that we are working on it or that a decision has been made. I've never heard of someone being told his UK visa has been approved or successful before he sees his passport. I have no idea what the role of this brp represents in the decision making process to tell you that on a whim. It's either you are being scammed or you misunderstood what this supposed brp told you |

Thank you for applying for a UK visa. Your visa application has been received and is under consideration. We aim to process non settlement applications within 15 working days (unless you have opted for the Priority Visa service), and settlement applications within 120 working days. Unfortunately, the processing of your application has not been straightforward and we will be unable to decide your application within our customer service targets. We are continuing to work on your application and aim to make a decision as soon as possible. We will write to you again if there is any change to this. Please do not attend the Visa Application Centre until you have been advised that your application has been decided and that your passport is ready for collection. Kind Regards, UK Decision Making Centre Please I got the above email for my wife and son this afternoon, please what does the message means and what next do i have to do |
