Funnily enough, I remembered them recently, and wondered what became of them when they got to in the abroad.

The man should've just empowered with skills, then start up something for them right here in Nigeria.

You have to be very careful when helping strangers. I put most of the blame on the pastor in this case

Which university in Cyprus did he enrol them?
Which transcript did he use to secure the admission?
Why Cyprus of all countries?
Did he pay school fees for just few months cos they dropped out of school shortly after they landed in Cyprus?
Why did he not do due diligence on the character of boys he's taking under his care?
Would it not have been better to put them in a Christian university to instill some discipline and integrity in them?

The boys got to Cyprus and obviously mixed up with the wrong crowd. Smoking, wearing ear rings, clubbing and carrying hookup girls and they expected the pastor to continue supporting them financially

All of them should get out

I don't want to say much on this. But accusing him of using your stars is going to far, you are not the only people on his scholarship program.

OPM pastor deserves all the blame here.
Here were 2 youngmen who instead of doing their security work, turned it to a dance show. Chicken Republic did the right thing by firing them.
Instead of supporting the disciplinary move, Papa OPM tried to degrade the Nigerian work culture by compensating them with an undeserved scholarship abroad.
Two boys that would have been in university or polytechnic if they actually wanted to study in the first place.

Cyprus is not a place for something like that. How will they earn enough money to take care of both accomodation and tuition? It's sad how everything ended though. It's difficult to blame either side, but all those curses no necessary.

Both of them are wrong.

The pastor has good intentions but the execution is poor. The bills to sponsor people to study in a foreign country must be huge, no be by force say them must study for Cyprus, he can still sponsor them to a government University here in Nigeria.

The boys on the other hand are ungrateful. They could have sorted this issue with the pastor by suggesting that they send them back to Nigeria to complete their studies.

Make them come back to their dancing mai guard work.
