SC1: B.Ed from Tier 1 University = positive assessment. ( AQF 7 + ITE)

SC2: B.Ed from Tier 2 University (4 year course) + Pgde =positive assessment (AQF 6 + ITE)

SC3: B.Ed from Tier 2 University (4 year course) + M.Ed = negative ( AQF 6)

SC4: BSc or B.A from Tier 2 University (4 years course) + Pgde =positive assessment (AQF6 +ITE)

SC5: BSc or B.A from Tier 2 University (4 years course) + M.Ed =negative assessment (AQF 6 ,no ITE) not even possible to get M.ed without a pgde.

SC6: BTech/BEng from Tier 2 University (5 years course) + Pgde =positive assessment (AQF 6 + ITE)

SC7: BTech/BEng from Tier 2 University (5 years course) + M.Ed = negative( not possible without first doing pgde. No ITE, AQF 6)

SC8: BSc/BA/BTech/BEng from a Tier 1 University + Pgde =positive (AQF 7 + ITE)

SC9: Bsc/BA/BTech/BEng from a Tier 1 University + MEd = negative (not possible without first undergoing pgde)

Points to note
You can only do M.ed if your background is in education example B.ed to M.ed
Or B.sc to pgde to M ed.
M.ed is not same initial teacher education.

For B.sc, B.tech, B.a your ITE is your pgde which is 1 year inclusive of 45 days teaching practice.

Thank you

Hello

I have a question. I recently came across a video. In it, something was said about health care visa sponsorship. It said you could leave/pause your studies if you got the health assistant, diasability support worker visa sponsorship. This is for people in Australia.

Is this possible? Wouldn’t one have issues with the school and migration if you got the visa sponsorship?

yes you can stop schooling if your visa changes.
My advise, make sure the visa is approved before withdrawing your student cos applying for work sponsorship does not guarantee it will be approved. I have seen employer sponsored visa rejected and the person could not go back to school because they cancelled their studies

I worked in Nigeria on different role in engineering field, I worked as utilities engineer, maintenance manager. Also, I moved to UK as dependents. currently, I am working as maintenance engineer. Which route is the best for me, as it pique my interest to relocate to Australia.
you can read the details a few pages behind and check which occupation you can nominate.
You will only be approved for job relating to occupation you nominate.

Are you saying a BEd graduate from a Tier 2 uni still requires pgde?

The problem is, the degree is regarded as an associate degree equivalent in Australia.
But With a pgde it becomes equivalent to a B.ed of Australia standard.

The need qualification for any trade assessment (Trade test, diploma, degree, apprenticeship etc). without that and a 3 years experience with verifiable documents, there cannot be a positive assessment with TRA

The process is very easy and as stated on the AITSL website.
Apply on the website when you have your English result.
What specific help do you need?

Hi,

On this, is there a minimum duration for acquiring training in this profession? For more context, would a 3-month course be sufficient and 5+ years of verifiable work experience be eligible for TRA assessment? Thanks.

very likely, I am not sure. It depends on the occupation you are assessing. A level 2 occupation requires AQF 6 for assessment than a level 3 occupation. It may or may not work. You can also call or email TRA.
