The United States Government on Friday announced a ban targeting Ugandan officials, citing human rights abuses and corruption.

The Department of State said it is taking steps to impose visa restrictions under Section 212(a)(3)(C) of the Immigration and Nationality Act.

The Joe Biden administration noted that the U.S. government will continue to evaluate additional actions under the policy.

The affected individuals are accused of being responsible for/complicit in corruption, undermining the democratic process, and abusing human rights, including those of LGBTQI+ persons.

Uganda’s Anti-Homosexuality Act 2023, enacted in late May, prescribes prosecution and life imprisonment or the death penalty for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, and Asexual people.

The Department of State has also updated its travel guidance to Americans to highlight the risk that LGBTQI+ persons, or those perceived to be LGBTQI+.

The U.S. assures “strong support” for Ugandans, expressing commitment “to advancing respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms in Uganda and globally.

Thanks to other developed countries who frowns at this LGBTQ nonsense if not the west would’ve make us understand that development is tied to LGBTQ what I detest about this LGBTQ is their boldness to force us to accept their dirty act instead of hiding it.

Oshey Banners.

Lol.

Who go lose?

Now wey Russia and China dey expand, you dey ban. Keep it up.

In fact ban the whole of Africa make we see who go lose.

Uganda should reciprocate the gesture, ban everything related to the star spangled banner people, establish strong relationship with the BRICS and watch Uncle Sam foam in the mouth.

Good one from the US!
They are quick to impose death penalty on homosexuality, but can't impose death sentence on their corrupt politicians! 🤣

Most Africa countries with their misplaced priority. LGB is here to stay, either you like it or not. Na just time.
The death penalty is too extreme, and that's human right abuse.

I wonder why people are going crazy over what two adults choose to do with themselves. Don't you get it, they are not sexually attracted to the other sex, no matter how you try to change them, it's the way they are. No be your nyash I dey f;k, so why you carry the matter for head? ☹️

Ugandan President and politicians are the biggest beneficiaries of the economic crisis that will threaten Uganda in the coming weeks.

Their President, Museveni, has been Head of State in Uganda since 1987- a record 37 years, and has won reelection 6 times. His army consistently abuse the country's most vocal opposition, Bobi Wine and not so long ago, Wine's wife was almost stripped naked on election noon.

The impoverished and superstitious citizens of the import-dependent sub-saharan country are happy that a law to persecute anyone who isn't heterosexual or is non-binary is in force. They prefer to stay in churches fasting from dawn to dusk despite their very low standard of living.

When anyone questions why Uganda that was developing at a very slow rate has become stagnant, or in a worse reality- going backwards, members of the executive and legislators can cite their anti-gay laws as the reason for their woes and get reelected to continue redirecting Uganda's resources to private stockpiles for their bloodline.

Good Morning Uganda 🌈

Hehehe.

They can ban the whole African countries for all I care. We won't accept a deviant culture and abnormality in Africa.

If the USA so much love Africa, they should first of all ban all our corrupt political leaders.

The USA that has plunged her citizens into confusion with their gay laws is preaching to Africa. A country that can't even protect the rights and sanctity of children is telling us how to live our lives in Africa.

A country that now has more than 50 genders is trying to lure us into confusion.

Soon you will be hearing statement's like this in USA "I formally a black Asian male, who later became a white cuacusian female wants to identify as a Volvo 1960 model" mad people everywhere.

I don't blame them,I blame our useless leaders who have plundered the wealth of Africa for so Long.

One thing I hate about this USA is that they will never push for good things to come to Africa. It's all these devilish things that they will keep pushing to Africa.
Why can't they help push their technology to Africa so that we can also benefit from their wealth of knowledge and reduce poverty in Africa. Why must it be gay and lesbians shiiiit that they will be forcing down on Africa.

Mental conditioning bro.

They know the power that traditional family settings have.

A country with strong family units will be very difficult to mass control by the government.

They've done it in their land, weak family, strong, controlling and deceptive government.

They want same replicated everywhere so they can use it as a tool for mass control.

That kind of setting, government installs what they want in the citizens. Your kid will not be yours but the government's.

Have you read 1984 by George Orwell?

Usa can go to hell.

Musveni is roundly supported by other African countries. When one of the Western journalist was asking president Musveni about the banning of LGBTQ law in Uganda, he simply asked her, If we Africans always come to your countries and respect your law, tradition and custom, why is it hard for you people to respect ours ( Africa) she was dumbfounded

President Ruto, President Akuffo Ado, President Kigame , President Raphamosa, Zimbabwe president have also spokenly bluntly and rejecting the barbaric LGBT nonsense law in Africa

So the freedom the West preaches is one where any practice they deem to be right/appropriate must be universally accepted? Who made them the moral compass of the entire multiracial and multiethnic world? This is nothing but tyranny.

You see those people, they have serious issue with their customs, tradition values but instead of them to fix their problems, they want to impose same madness in Africa as if we are still in colonial era.

President Kigame asked one of the Western Journalist a question, what's your definition of human rights if Africans migrating to the Europe countries can be treated like an animal. Does that mean human rights respect in Western world should be different from African ones, again, that journalist was just looking like goat head.

Lions fight to dead mostly because of territory and female meaning even in Animal Kingdom, such barbaric act is not practiced.

Usa and the Western allies pushing this nonsense agenda would eventually regret this cos they are dealing with new African youths, what our grandfather's accepted from them without complaining, we will reject it bluntly, let them do their worst
