It can’t be easy but life is more important and safety first. The land in that area is unstable and I understand that the property is distressed.

If the buildings are stressed and eventually collapse (God forbid), people will say the govt refused to act earlier because they wanted the Igbos in those shops to meet with evil. If the govt issues quit notice, they will say it is because of election.

Catch 22 situation.

Igbo people don't really know powerful they are in this country.

I wish they can start moving their investments and business to the eastern part of the country.

Nkwo Nnewi is thriving.
Ariaria market is thriving.
Main Market Onitsha is thriving.
Ikoku PH is thriving.
Ogbete Enugu is thriving.
Building materials Ogidi is thriving.
Mgbuka Obosi is thriving.

So if Trade Fair complex and Alaba International are their areas of business, they should handle whatever comes through. It is a personal choice to make oneself a commercial victim in Nigeria.

I don't own any real estate in Lagos and will not in the foreseeable future. The world is too big for me to limit myself to Lagos. So wetin go come concern me with Lagos matter? Problem solved!

I don't know why the Igbos play victims at every situation. Are you sure no non-Igbo shop is also marked for demolition? Can you provide video or audio evidence of when Sanwolu said they would demolish Igbos shops because they did not vote Tinubu?

Eeyah!

But "Lagos is no man's land" naw.

Who are the Igbos claiming victim? They should relocate their Business to another place joor let Lagos 'Suffer' joor.

I thought 70% of the Land in Lagos has been bought by the hardworking tribe, they should sell all their property because of this witch hunting that LASG is doing.

Ok. Why did the Igbos not vote for APC ?
Is it tribalistic reasons, conscience reasons, development reasons, political reasons or Lagos is no man's land reasons

JealousCobra:

And yet this unfortunate Tinubu government is still talking about the unity of this country being paramount.

The question should be, are the yorubas and fulanis ready for peaceful coexistence of other ethnic groups in this country?

As Long as APC shenanigans are still in power, this country will never know peace and harmony 😎

In the next 10 years check the lives of those Igbos that their shops were demolition today and that of the people that were involved in the demolition exercise.

Shege banza hellhole country.
You will never know peace because you wish Nigeria and Nigerian bad peace will depart from you omoale this hatred will send you to hell before the end of the year oloribu
