humility33: A recent example is Anayo Iwuala. When Iwuala was home based we never got peace until he was called up regularly. After leaving for Esperance Tunis nobody called for him again. Why? So what was the point all along? Now he's in the Algerian league. I used to rate him as a player hopefully he's still good. 6 Likes |

Good game from an attacking point of view. Osimhen just loves playing against the Sierra Leonians 4 goals in 3 matches against them now. Osayi was impressive again today. Chukwueze and Simon especially were annoying with their decision making today. When they should cross they opt to take on their man, when they should take on their opposite number they decide to deliver ineffectual crosses. Team still looks a good way from being AFCON contenders. Thankfully there's still time between now till January next year but can the NFF take the necessary decisions to improve the team? |

Oga we are not kids here..this thread have been existing for years and many monikers here are oldies.... same way we support the super eagles foreign based players we follow up the chan team, female football and cadet teams so save us the blushes |

chrisooblog: Never mind the midfield. Firstly you cannot win anything without a goal keeper. And that center back options are right now are quite frankly no where near good enough to go through a tournament unscathed. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

Lol... Forgiveness. You are forcing this take. We can as well call every goal scored in football, individual brilliance then, attributing it only to the scorer since if he doesn't score, there is no goal right? Let's just forget the passers or creative players. Infact even tap ins are results of individual brilliance then. Osimhen's second goal too was Individual brilliance since he "brilliantly" attacked that space and persisted to slot that ball in. Yep, let's forget Aribo's pass. Bringing in watching academy matches doesn't validate your take. I have seen academy matches as well. forgiveness: 1 Like |

We need friendly games to try out Onyedika, Alhassan, Daga, Nnadi, Eletu and Nwachukwu. But we won't do it. Trust me. What we will do is arrange friendlies, call up exactly the same squad bar maybe 1 or 2 players and play a very familiar 11 on match day, with Musa on the bench (stealing a valuable spot for a young player), for his experience 3 Likes |

TheSuperNerd: Oga, what if he receives the pass and doesn't know what to do next when Omeruo was still facing him? I don't know if you have played ball before but if you had, you should have understood. My point is not from watching academy matches but from the remarks of certified coaches life and direct. I think that validates my point. This in not about forcing take but stating it as it is. Besides, tap in doesn't translate to individual brilliance even that goal was not in anyway a tap in. He received the ball but did something extra, that makes it individual brilliance. Shikena. |

Of those u20 midfielders, one of them came in the second half of that game we lost to Brazil. I think of the trio, he will go farthest. wayodude: |

As for Alhassan, I would like to see him play for another season. I rate Onyedika over Bonke. Onyeka is okay. Nwakali should be in SE right now. I need to watch todays game though because I was in a Father’s Day lunch party. |

It is not individual brilliance of one player, Mister man. Our defensive set up got split with that one pass to Bundu and he finished well. Simple. You are forcing a false narrative becos you speak to academy coaches. Lol The fact is Bundu's finish was just as good as the pass he received. Both were brilliant. forgiveness: 1 Like |

forgiveness: I get where you're coming from. The player took the chance with aplomb! Had he missed no one would have been surprised so there was some brilliance there. Many of our players squander similar chances upandan. |

TheSuperNerd: Not only an academy coach but a National coach. Do you now under why it validates my point? I was keeping that in the arsenal for you, knowing you could rubbish the academy coaches. I know my people. Bundo finished from tap in. That's what you want to portray here. Go on mister. |
