adioolayi: Still wondering why court cannot ask each political party to present signed results by their agents at polling units and cross-check with the final results declared by inec. Since election is being counted at polling units in the present of voters and parties agents who must have signed on the final result at every polling unit, it is only logical for them to use that to determine if there is any manipulation or not. If inec say it perceive danger in uploading result directly from Polling units, and electoral officers at polling units claims there was network issue while trying to upload the same results, court won't have option but to reason with them and accept their hard copies. If the opposition parties didn't have clear evidence of rigging in the results collated through their parties agents at polling units but base their petition on mode of transmission, they may have their case throw out at the end of the day. |

nairalanda1:Of course! Internet is bad all over Nigeria; that's why the INEC officials used USA and UK internet connections to upload the NASS results, but the UK and USA connections selectively failed when it got the presidential results. Very typical imbecilic excuse you hear from shameless African public officials; another recent example was how someone claimed a strange python swallowed millions and how monkeys snatched public funds. If nobody could be prosecuted for those, why should anyone expect INEC to come up with a sensible defense? 3 Likes |

yemmit90: Your reasons are logical...and that would have been an easy way out...but, political parties won't go that route, because, that is where ALL POLITICAL parties perfected their rigging. They know nothing will come from this simple route, because, you will always find exact results collated at PU. Party agents would have been forced to sign those results. They all do this..they know this..and that's why they will be looking for other ways. This simply explains why Presidential election fraud is the most difficult to proof |

At the end, hopefully, our internet will improve Thanks and good night. Reality is not always our friend. And yes, i do not support any of the parties. |

Only Presidential Election Results Refuse To Upload – INEC Tell Tribunal |
Re: Presidential Election Results Refused To Upload, INEC Officers Tell Tribunal by OKORONKWOBRIGHT(m): 8:13pm On Jun 19, 2023 |
Presiding Officers of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Monday told the Presidential Election Petition Court ( PEPC) that the refusal of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) to transmit the presidential election results on election day frustrated their jobs. The Officers admitted that the results of the Senate and the House of Representatives election were transmitted unhindered and that the problems of technical hitches arose at the point of transmitting only the presidential poll results. |
Re: Presidential Election Results Refused To Upload, INEC Officers Tell Tribunal by obailala(m): 8:19pm On Jun 19, 2023 |
nairalanda1:Internet connectivity didnt affect anything! THe refusal to upload the presidential results were deliberate (orders from above); anyone (even the blind) could see that clearly. I can go pull up some old circulating videos where voters battled election officals to upload the results; the officials bluntly refused citing 'bad network' as the problem. In some cases, voters even offered to hotspot internet from their phones, but the officials refused claiming the problem was from the INEC server and not the internet connection in the area. Some other officials claimed their ogas didnt provide a specific pass code which they claimed was required to securely upload the presidential results. In some units, after the mob pressure from the voters, 'network' miraculously appeared and the officials were forced to upload. Now an AWS official has just prrovided evidence that there was nothing wrong with the health status of the INEC cloud services on that election day; this already rules out the foolish lie by INEC officials that their network was down. Even a blind person or a child could easily tell that the selective refusal to upload just the presidential results was deliberate. But then, we're in Nigeria, a shithole African country, so even if all the evidence in the world is provided to the court, I dont still trust the already compromised courts to do anything right. 3 Likes |

Buhari, Tinubu, El-rufai and INEC oga knew what they were doing. They saw the upset Obi was causing and immediately deployed measured to avert the disaster, knowing that the president is what matters in our type of Democratic Govt. 😕😕😕😕 |

obailala: That may be, but it still does not invalidate my argument about the bad internet we have overall. Oga, once again, you are arguing based on thw idea that i am defending corrupt government. I am.just pointing out one of the reasons why the bvas may have not worked and i even had the idea that there would be glitches before the election So at the end, we arw just talking two different things. But on elections, we can never have free and fair elections in this country until people stop seeing themselves as victims. Politicans inclusive. I know why i say.this. Evening |

nairalanda1:To summarise what I said before, the non-upload of the presidential result had absolutely nothing to do with Nigeria's bad internet!!!. By the way, I have no clue what you meant by that last statement; what has election rigging got to do with people being victims? |

You mean when he dumped those EC8 forms in court. So far he has not really made any reference to them on any discrepancy. By now we should have been hearing polling unit x, PO had 100 but was changed to 10, polling unit y, he had 200 but was changed to 40 but instead all the witnesses have only focused on results not being uploaded to iREV and no reference to the so called evidences. nairalanda1:I think you're missing the main issue here. Three different posts were conducted same day in each unit but two of the posts results were successful uploaded across the country but only the presidential election was not. The results were counted same day, same period and was to be uploaded by law but two went through successfully but that of the presidential election did not. Don't you think something is fishy? |

9jatriot: You nailed it. They dont have evidence of changing poll results. Hence they are just shouting without any substance. Not uploading the results to iREV does not invalidate the results. They focused on results not being uploaded to iREV bring them nothing. 1 Like |
