yMcy56: Many buyers lined up for UNIVINSURE. Where did they come from though? You'd expect the sudden bids to have come from a single entity, but buyers plenty. |

bibs4all: It depends on what you want Dividends, share price increase or miracles Miracle is for Kobo stocks that are insolvent that can shoot up by 3x or remain stagnant like Dunlop Nigeria for years. What is your risk appetite... If you lose the money, you go cry? 5 Likes 1 Share |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by princezino(m): 3:46am On Jun 20, 2023 |
bibs4all: Most definitely! You can loose more than you put it. You can get stuck in a loosing position with no means to even close the position. That is why many wise SME's here will boldly tell you that any info they offer is NOT INVESTMENT ADVICE. Take your time and learn first. 5 Likes 1 Share |

bibs4all: That was why I mentioned Dunlop They were supposed to produce tyres in Nigeria and that would have boosted the company but due to some govt policies, they never hit the ground running It trades at 20k today with zero demand. No one is buying or selling it. There was also the 2008 financial crisis. To give you context, back then, my pops sold bonus of UBA to buy Honda End of Discussion . After a few years, that same bonus had a value of 100,000 naira. A loss in value of at least 90%. If your strategy doesn't tell you when to leave , you will learn a bitter lesson. 10 Likes 1 Share |

Geovanni412: Bro. You are not speaking what they want to hear, you need to tell them TinuBull will take the index to 100k that is what they wanted to hear, if u tell them that they needed to leave when ovation is much louder they won't listen to you. Have watched several YouTube warnings from top guys in the world that America will have issues which will escalate to the whole world even Elon musk said. Just let us enjoy our ride ooo. I could remember tell my boss then that he should sell his FBN Po of #33 when when it was selling for 44 then as at that time price has started coming down. Good he listened to me told broker to sell and was sold at #44 today the rest is history first bank has not done #20 since how many yrs now 4 Likes |

YoungBuffet:Your viewpoints are valued, however, it's important to remember that investment goals vary greatly from person to person. When we offer advice, we must consider the investment objectives of each individual. If you anticipate a market will dip, but my strategy is focused on the company's annual dividends, our strategies will understandably not align. This doesn't signify that one of us is more insightful than the other, merely that our strategies differ. As a case in point, I have held onto certain stocks for many years (even as a trader) with no intention to sell. I've seen the prices fluctuate, drop to the original purchase level and rise again, all the while I've enjoyed the dividends. An example is my stake in Zenith Bank, acquired at N10. On the other hand, there's BankPHB, a long-term investment that I undertook due to the seemingly "excellent" management, which is now just a piece of paper. Learn to understand and respect the varying investment perspectives. It's absolutely fine to present your insights, but there's no need to disparage anyone in the process. Let's aim for a constructive exchange of ideas that respects all viewpoints. 26 Likes 2 Shares |

BullBearMkt: Bro. Everyone is the manager of their portfolios, am much bothered about the people we are misleading and that is where I stand. Anyone can call me any name I don't care. Sometimes when we entered a penny stock we come here to advertise it and when those uninformed people enters will exit and leave them to their Fate. It might be a close friend or family that peep here then sees predictions up and down cos Market is moving then enters only to be stranded. A friend chatted yesterday if he could buy japaul and my response was that I don't really know much again about the company and am not interested about knowing it wt that he has known my stand on the stock. If he comes here and sees the stock being projected positively by those who wants to exit, he will enter and become stranded at the end where as the advertisers of the stocks have long exited 1 Like |
