very likely, I am not sure. It depends on the occupation you are assessing. A level 2 occupation requires AQF 6 for assessment than a level 3 occupation. It may or may not work. You can also call or email TRA.

Hello Tunlex01,
Just a question. If you are residing in Aussie currently, is it good to lodge an EOI using "Australia" as usual place of residence? Or can one still use Nigeria? Let me know what you think because I have racked up to 80 points for 189 and 85 for 190 but i am yet to hear from them regarding 189 or 190 visa.

Thanks.

you cannot state you are offshore if you are onshore. That's misrepresentation and could lead to nomination or visa refusal.
What is your occupation and which state?

Thank you, the occupation is tailoring/seamstress. Will do my research.

I'm encouraged seeing this. I'm still preparing documents for engineering assessment. I would really like to get in touch with anyone who can at least guide me.

Good evening all..
I recently heard my folks talking about this point based Australia PR..though it was a side talk and I couldn’t get more information from them..before stumbling on this trend..
I have HND in mechanical engineering and City and guilds up to level 5 in mechanical engineering..and just recently I checked the website and I scored 70 clicking 189 and 75 clicking 190..
Currently I work as a plant control room operator in one of the leading FMCG’s in Nigeria and would like to know my chances of getting to Australia..I have been working for almost 3yrs now
2. Would the PR require me to look for an Australian Job here in Nigeria before my application is granted??

The financial year is almost over and most state have suspended application/nomination till maybe early Aug after receiving slots for next financial year.

No one can predict exactly what will happen next financial year regarding 189,
Base on this financial year, VIC won't nominate you while living in another state and you will need a job offer in WA for 190.
PS: Hardly will a state nominate for 190 while living in another state.
WA may nominate you but you will have to move to the state and provide evidence of residency and job offer with 60days.
All these are based on this financial year requirements for nomination.

Please who knows how long it takes to be approved as a sponsor by Australian immigration. I want to sponsor a my parents for the 870 visa but I understand I need to apply to be approved as a sponsor. Please how long does that sponsor approval usually take.

Thanks for this info but that is not what i am asking. Before you can apply forthe 870 visa for your parents, you must have applied to be approved as a sponsor. It is the time it takes to be approved as a sponsor that I am asking.
Thank you.

Hello everyone

For someone that has more than 5 years experience in telecommunications. What are the chances of getting an ITA with 65 points for subclass 190 and 70 points for subclass 491

hello ,

I am having a bit of dilemma on the occupation to choose on the occupations's list.

I have a BSC in Economics from the University of Nigeria.
I worked as a Sales Executive for 6 months
Switched to one of the Discos and worked as a Sales representative for 3 yrs
got promoted to a Sales supervisor and worked for 3yrs
Now I am currently a Data/Business Analyst. I have been on this role for 1 yr and 7 months.

I am yet to see any occupation that closely decscribes what i have done.

Also i noticed that VETASSESS have not updated a role for Data/ business analyst.

So i am stuck between 225499 Technical Sales Representatives nec and 611312 Sales Representative (Business Services)

Pls can anyone give their suggestions on the way forward.

Thanks in advance

Also, pls if there is any telegram group or whatsapp group, pls i would like to join

Greetings everyone and happy Sunday.
I have read some post back but please I need assistance. I have 5 years as an IT support and I want to apply for ACS assessment. The company I worked for does not have good structure, hence salary payment is mostly by cash. Also, there is no pension paid on behalf of staffs.

Please how can I go about this?

I will also appreciate it if someone who was in the same condition as myself and have passed the assessments to support me through the application process.

God bless you
