God bless your heart.
We all know the world is cruel, you might decide to help someone and they'll use it and kill you, some will envy you, but those that value and want the best for you, it's those people you should help.

Kindly check my profile. smiley

You are so right.

If you know the current issues I am going through just because I decided to help.

I almost lost my life.

Just be careful out there, help but be careful. People can be so entitled, wicked and ungrateful.

If you are living abroad and have some families here in Nigeria, pls don't hesitate to reach out to your brothers, sisters, uncles and aunties here in Nigeria.

The situation on ground is so bad that u see people groaning and talking to themselves, well kitted men and women turned cunny beggars just to meet up with daily activities.

Most families that I know have dump their cars especially here in Abuja. When u move around the city,u will see the situation on ground.

The subsidy removal has affected everything including the way of life of many people here in Nigeria. In my office today, many guys now come to office few times in a week just to cushion the effects of the subsidy removal.

Now that the electricity tariff is about to go up...I wonder how people would cope going forward.

And for those who feel everything is normal, just wait it will soon go round,no one would be spared.

Funny enough, if you know what some abroad people, UK especially, are going through right now

Nigerians get poorer year-in-year-out. Religion, Ethnicity and above all TRIBALISM is why they'd be poorer Nigerians moving forward.

I pity no Nigerian. I only help out whenever I feel the need to because too many out there are very evil.

You are not far from the truth bro....

Na you think say Nigerians are suffering, I will say that's a lie.

The day they rise to fight their oppressors collectively is the day I will believe Nigerians are suffering. In a saner climes, we should be on the streets rioting since May 30th but tribalism has eaten deep into us that some my folks believe na awalokan.

Nigerians are feeling the consequences of their mass stupidity.

The ultra-useless ones e.g. the APC trolls helinues, FreestuffNG etc are still here gaslighting everyone including themselves, but they are all going to burn!

Balablu, I was at the restaurant on Thursday. A lady came and was begging for food. She didn't ask for cash. Just for the food, and she would be served undecided
She was with two teenage boys. Two Samaritans payed for two plates

Those of us that live abroad do not plug money from the tree. Here, you work for every penny earned.

The global economic meltdown is worrisome...na God go help us all.

I pay 1500 United States dollars a month for my apartment(utility bills inclusive), feeding is cheap here, cloth on the high side, any other bills too.

Though I help out folks and family members who call once in a while to seek my assistance.

My advise is that everyone should just hold on and keep pushing, eh go better!

OP,

Nothing new. Things are hard everywhere, but the difference is how the extent people go to trim costs. Many Nigerians are still thinking of hosting parties, expensive burial ceremonies, weddings, birthday bashes, buying expensive phones etc. To cap it, having plenty of children yanfu-yanfu. To be honest, I do not think Nigerians, especially in Southern Nigeria, are suffering o. Instagram and Facebook pictures tell a different story.

I spoke with my mum in naija today , and she said she went to Oshodi market and everywhere was doing ‘witiwiti’. Upon all these Kosowo kosowo, because of the upcoming Muslim celebration, market full of people wey dey buy stuff like say na end of the year.
