2023 WWC: Super Falcons Group Opponent Ireland To Face France, Colombia In Friendlies

The World Cup debutant will take on France in Dublin on July 6th and on July 14th they will face Colombia.

The friendly against Colombia will be Ireland’s final tuneup tie before they will open their campaign at the World Cup against co-hosts Australia on July 20th.

Argentina & Croatia did expose the male team at the 2018 World Cup

And what is the correlation between an African medal and good performance at the World level?
Morocco, for example, got knocked out in the quarter finals of the 2022 AFCON, but went on to post the greatest performance by an African team at the World Cup.
Zero correlation.

EA Sports have predicted USA will lift the 2023 Women's World Cup following a full tournament FIFA 23 simulation 🔮🇺🇸

No African Nation predicted to qualify from The Group Stage!

They also accurately predicted Argentina Winning the FIFA World Cup

...i actually feel South Africa can still come out 2nd in their group, Nigeria has a chance, however, i have no faith in Randy so, i believe maybe just South Africa. It is easier to pridict the overall event than predicting match by match.

South Africa 🇿🇦 come out of a group that has Sweden, Italy and Argentina? I doubt oo, They don’t know how to play Sweden unlike Nigeria that can handle them very well.. Against Italy it more like a 60/40 and against Argentina who’s more of the weakest team in that group to me will definitely be a tricky game but if SA get their acts right, they can overcome them.

Nigeria comes out of the group. I'm optimistic.

I think their starting frontline will be Hilda Magia, Jasmine Seoposinwe and Thembi.., If you cut out supply and mark out this two, Seopo and Thembi e don Finnish they’re always prone to getting frustrated and tends to commit fouls when you man mark them...

But a moment of individual brilliance from Thembi will be handy for them. As you have just said na Nigeria hand dem for da form Bose..

Provided Desire starts, we have no issues. They aren't that lethal defenders.

Gamero is a damn good player. Will be a good get, but doubt the US will ever let her slip.

Desire Oparanozie looks certain to be a Back Up in the no.9 position… Maybe when one of the forwards from the flank goes off or Oshoala come off or move to the Flank then Oparanozie can come in..

Again Randy Waldrum will likely field Iffy maybe from the Bench..

.....Back up no 9 to who...Ify should not start......Ajibade wll not play the first 2 games...so the way i see it, it should be Esther, Desire and Oshoala up front.....Also i will have Oshoala on the flanks...

Still conflicted about Oparanozie. We are largely basing out judgement on her on past showings without getting a chance to see how she fits into the system now. Unfortunately the NFF didn't make provisions for friendlies for that.

She has an average of 5 goals per season the last 6 years. I won't bank my offence on her sincerely. Ify same thing.
