We should never underestimate the God factor notwithstanding the situations we find ourselves in life.

Nothing is hopeless, irredeemable or impossible with Him.

People are going through things.

Yesterday night, a man and his wife were begging at my Bustop at night.

I was going to buy something. He called me. I refused to respond thinking he was a thief or scammer or something. So I passed him quickly and went to were I was going.

Coming back, I passed that same route and this time I decided to stop. He approached me and started telling me to help him with anything I have that his children have nothing to eat last night.

I looked into my bag and gave him 200 Naira which was what I had on me last night.

He thanked me happily and left.

I felt happy that I was able to help me in my little way.

While I was going home, I said to myself that people are really going through hard times especially now that things have worsen.

May God give us the grace to help one another the little way we can this period.

Tell us how you did it, people that helped you, don't 'grace' us, people are looking for jobs.

Then, it should be in the Religious section and not here. You are just being emotional, you didn't learn anything new from her writeup.

There was a time a popular female billionaire was invited to talk on career. She was just rambling about favour and grace and all what not with no single sensible mention of effort. Well, she was gifted her major money spinner, so she couldn't offer anything sensible.

Let's learn to say the truth in this country and stop celebrating mediocrity under the guise of grace.

1.There is a place for favor and grace...

2. There is a place for effort....principles.

We need 1 and 2 to succeed in life... cheesy grin

Oga, you don't have to be this Harsh. How would you like it if someone did this to you?

But he's right.

The OP basically said nothing as regards requisite details into what she learnt, how she stumbled on opportunities to apply the skill to use, thereby leaving her entire tale quite bland and littered with irritating religious rhetorics, as if you can use the grace of God to buy a laptop from a gadget store while living from hand to mouth.

This is like standing on your church podium to give a rushed testimony, to which the congregation sheepishly echoes "Hallelujah" in unison.

If you see the need to tell a story people can learn from, put in the core details and spare the reading public the inconvenience of basking in your "grace of god" bullshit. How many liters of fuel grace of god fit buy you for fuel station today?

Abuja is overrated

Very.

I moved to the city after my marriage cause my wife was born and raised there, so I wanted to save her the inconvenience of adapting to a new environment. It's usually harder for women to adapt to environmental change.

And that was singularly the worst decision I've made in the last 2years.

Tell us the skills which you learnt that got you a job. Then, tell us how you apply those skills.
Tell us how you've excelled and how others can learn from it, you are telling empty stories.

Yes. Do it to me if I'm yarning dust.

Every success has a process. If someone cannot trace the process but is shouting grace, favour and all, you are dealing with a deceiver.

No truer words than this have ever been said!!

The GOD FACTOR is The LOVE FACTOR.

...And Nothing More.

God is Not A "HIM".

GOD is LOVE.

LOVE is Spirit.

No Gender.

It is A BLIND OPPRESSION To Women To Position "GOD" as "HIM".

This is what continues to Psychologically Cripple The Nigerian/African Women.

Wake up!

God is Love.

If You Can Love Your Neighbors and People As You Love Yourself;

Then You Are Love And God.

For Ye Are Gods.

E Money was onced asked how he made his money and he answered "grace". grace i think is the most abused word in our christian vocabulary. I am not doubting the reality of grace but like someone said every success has a process and if someone fails to outline the process and hide under grace, then there's something shady involved.
