1. People who graduate with 2nd class lower, 3rd class and pass is not eligible to apply to University for masters except you have a supervisor that want to work with you.
2. Financial involvement, you can go to college for 1yr PGD/PGC and still apply for PGWP after your study, so the burden of 2yrs tuition fee in acct and 2yrs living expenses won't be there
3. Individual difference can still play out here

Thanks for ur reply

I submitted in person in the VFS Lagos office

It took us 7 weeks in total from day of submission

Pick it up yesterday, if you can use courier it is better because of the waiting crowd but if you are not in a rush submit in person.

And plan to get it back 7to 8 weeks

7 weeks? shocked shocked shocked . And I was making arrangements for 5 weeks max for the collection.

Those using courier have also been complaining of delays too.

Thanks for the information.

I will really like to know from others that recently collected their passports? Please what's the wait time for the collection?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Zeed13: 7:48pm On Jul 05, 2023
All of the fees are paid.
One-way courier fee and SMS.
I sent my passport using the DHL and Its since been delivered but I am yet to get an update on VAC that they have my passport.
How many days did it take before the notify you that they have received your passport?
Frankielilbaby:

Are you sure you paid all the fees complete It was the same for me until I paid my fees also reach out to them through email they will respond almost immediately it’s how I got to know I didn’t pay the courier fees back so my passport was just stamped and kept aside

Guys please I need your advice on this one.

I mistakenly deposited into the CIBC GIC program instead of depositing into my student international pay for my tution fee. Now my school is on my neck regarding the payment of deposit tuition fee. I have also contacted CIBC GIC if they could transfer the funds to my school but they said I could only initiate a refund. Also the balance is not even up to 10k required by GIC, its 8k deposited. Honestly I don't know how I made this big mistake.

1. Is there a solution to this?
2. The money left for my POF is in a blocked account(Fixed deposit), so I don't have access to it now, instead I would have payed the tution from it.

If you submit yourself, you should get it back maximum 2 weeks.

That's what i thought too, but you never know, with the surge in PPRs towards Fall, it might just be the new norm. I pray it's not though.

After how many days after submission did you receive notification that your request is being processed at IRCC office? A friend that submitted yesterday already got this email.

Good evening everyone. I'll be applying to new Brunswick community College. I only have my olevel which I did in 2012. Do I stand a chance of getting my visa approved even with a perfectly written SOP explaing the huge study gap? Your response will be highly appreciated

Yes you will get it approved if only you are convincing enough, but check if NBCC is accepting application

It simple process your refund to pay your tuition fee, then if you have access to your block acct you can fund back or source the money somewhere else

My greetings to everyone here, I am about to apply for the Canadian student permit and I have a question. My dad's friend who is very financially well off,, is willing to sponsor me for a PGD which is a one year program and he deposited $8000(Usd not Cad) in my domiciliary account 8months ago. He willingly to paid first term tuition which is 9000cad and deposits the balance of 9000cad in my domiciliary account. My lingering question is that is tenable to the VO that someone who isn't your family is willing to your education. Expert in the house 🙏

If your dad's friend can do all these for you then while not make him (explain) your maternal uncle, i think that will make sense

It's never too early to apply for SP, infact, applicants are encouraged to apply at least 6 months before start of the programme.

I understand your situation and the urgency to resolve the issue. Here are some suggestions that might help:

Contact your school: Explain the situation to your school's financial department and provide any necessary documentation to support your case. They might https://pintdow.com/ be able to provide guidance or offer alternative solutions for payment, considering the mistake you made.

Communicate with CIBC GIC: Although CIBC mentioned initiating a refund, it's worth contacting them again to explain the urgency of your situation. See if they can assist you in expediting the process or finding a solution that allows for a direct transfer of funds to your school.

Explore other payment options: Inquire if your school accepts alternative methods of payment

I sent emails and got this one on June 26th , and under review documents on my online portal I can see that my additional document is being reviewed. Since I got a mail back should I still keep sending web forms?
