Una sure say Nigeria go qualify?
South Africa, Benin & Rwanda are all in deadly forms. Rohr is coaching Benin at the moment and he knows SE very well
my fears. SA beating Morocco of late adds to it also Rohr factor hmm. It is not going to be funny though

Our group may end up as a 5-team group if FIFA refuses to lift Zimbabwe’s suspension

Nigeria is not South Africa’s problem. South Africa is South Africa’s problem. They don’t do well against smaller teams, especially when playing away. It is a good draw for us in my opinion.

We should qualify from this group if the NFF can get their house in order with regards to the coaching department and playing pitches ..

Playing South Africa away is like playing at home. Good pitches! The easiest draw we could ever get. Easy qualification!

We have been in too much turmoil that we underestimate our team. I see us getting qualification with 2 matches to spare. The only real opposition in the team is south Africa. They are getting better but the bottling spirit in them is greater than their ambition so I think we would be safe.

Another advantage we will get playing South Africa for the Nigerian viewers is quality TV viewing

Many here are wary of SA but the team I tip to make things difficult for the super eagles is Rohr’s Benin 🇧🇯

Him sabi our team well so e no go easy at all

the major problem is the nff and sports ministry

Half of the problem can be solved by picking a suitable venue for the team’s home games

For me I think the nest of champions in Uyo should be super eagles official home ground all through the qualifiers

will be awesome if it happens. It’s high time politicians leave the sports sector entirely for pple who re well experienced in that field

Ex internationals like olofinjana, emenalo, oliseh, kanu, tijani, eguavoen etc should be the ones manning positions in the nff not politicians who know nothing with regards to that sector

Yes. The group winners automatically qualify with the four best runner ups in each group competing for a playoff spot to go and compete for another playoff spot against teams of other confederations.

South africa doesn't give me worries. They might beat us in soccer city but they'll still bottle to Benin or zimbabwe away. If it was ghana I would be worried.

No it won't be. Jay Jay will likely be a terrible administrator. Hope you're aware he was given same role in delta state at some point, story is he left cause he couldn't do the work. It's why you'll notice he has next to nothing to do with football development in whatever role but have decided to stick with brand promotion and punditry.

Don't get me wrong, I like the idea of ex international managing sports, but it should be those who have learnt how to and have the penchant for administration (Like Olofinjana). Alternatively, look for a CEO of any top business, or a young guy in tech known for innovation and let them handle sports.

much easier and less stressful, now the ball is in the court of the football house by getting its acts right

The best players we can boast of should be invited for this games, this homebase quota nonsense should be trashed. Also the best pitch in the country should be picked as the team’s home ground

never said that rohr is pep or Jose but that he knows our team very well of which 90% of the current super eagles players played under him when he was in charge

That’s my only worry
