There was a Tacha people pitched her against in their time, and thus, easily looked passed her toxic flaws. Hopefully they are unbiased this time. But you know how viewers like to answer "occupant in a potential winner's tent".

You also mentioned she's arrogant. She always has been. There was just a Tacha people thought worse and let her slide.

I have them as friends and those people can turn a pure water business to water producing factory.

Tacha was used to wash away people's sins. All the sins were poured on Tacha's head and they were washed clean.
