Roland17:As much as I like JB, this is overpayment. He is not worth that contract IMO. He is not a cornerstone franchise player, we have had enough years to observe his growth and trajectory. Im glad Rockets didnt try to enter this matter. And to be blunt, even Tatum is on the clock. I feel like he has peaked, and some of today's rookies and sophomores will eclipse him this coming season. |

Lol. E tun ti bere pelu iro. Team that didn't have a single Allstar player besides Joker. Una say na stacked team AlawadaThey were so stacked they were given the 9th best odds entering the season. Why not take your losses like a good sport instead of endless excuses and salaye. The likes of Jokic don't cry and beg for respect or spotlight. We know the people who want attention win, lose or draw birdman:Is Jayson Tatum not 25 abi e dey use football age? Anyway I blame them too for raising the bar that high. Rookies and sophomores will eclipse him? Na wa oh Nobody is worth $300m to bounce a ball but guess what that's the market and the going rate. |

Roland17:I'm not even denying that He was below par during this year's playoff hence why I said He needs to improve His ball handling skills. Let's see How far you lot go next year as you are currently the favourites to make it out of the East. |

Lmaoo Bronsexuals are pitiful at this point. The fact that a man who has retired 20 years ago is still your reference point says it all If you like cry blood. There's a full HOF career accomplishment gap between Jordan and Lebron 😂😆 2 rings 2 FMVPs 1 DPOY 1 Regular season MVP Mind the gap |

Salute to the guys going to this year's Hall of Fame Dirk Wade Pau Tony Parker Not sure there's been a better class in recent times. Tony Parker always gets left out of the top 10 PG convos and I don't quite understand it. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 4:31pm On Aug 12, 2023 |
The disrespect. I don't understand the rationale. They're both decent in the regular season but both turn it up several notches in the post season. And only one has a ring.

| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 6:24pm On Aug 12, 2023 |
A40:By far one of the most underrated and disrespected PG.. This is even after winning FMVP in 2007. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 7:56pm On Aug 12, 2023 |
Roland17:He just always seems to get skipped in every conversation. I find it bizarre for example that he did not make the top 75. A lot of people go on about Klay but Tony Parker missing the list is a bigger snub and insult. Tim Duncan didn't win those rings by himself. And between him and Manu as much as I'm a fan of Manu Tony was a lot more consistent |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 10:19pm On Aug 12, 2023 |
A40:Tony suffered the most under coach Pop, who was very hard on him, especially early on. I was listening to his speech and he said Timmy did not talk to him for a year until after the season he became a starter. Remember the Spurs almost traded for J. Kidd but Kidd decided otherwise. I think it also has something to do with the San Antonio small market and ownership. If not for Timmy, the Spurs championships would probably not get a lot of attention. I remember even when they were winning, they barely got National attention. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 7:20pm On Aug 13, 2023 |
Who are we to bet on him not having similar stats at 47? ![]()
|
| Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 4:31am On Aug 14, 2023 |
Roland17:Even with Timmy, they did not get a lot of attention. Not only was spurs bball very boring, Timmy D scored in very boring ways as well. Whenever they played the pistons under coach larry, those games would send you to sleep in the first minute ![]() On Tony's place in the first 75 - truth is most of the rankings are subjective and actually nonsense. For example no one ever mentions Admiral. Dude was a legit option to Shaq, bested Shaq for scoring title once by dropping 70+. How much higher would Giannis be if he was in a bigger market with no accent? similar for Hakeem? Can you compare dropping 70 today to dropping 70 20 years ago? Of course not. You cant even compare the rings - free agency was nothing like it is today. |
