"In times of universal deceit telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act."-( George Orwell Visionary English Journalist and Novelist)
Illegitimate regimes always wants to be authoritarian believing it will shield them from the innuendoes of the criticising public. Alas they are always wrong. North Korea, Buhari/IBB/Abacha governments.

Bitter truth is that Democracy is for Oyibo and not for Africans. We are still too crude and primitive for Democracy.

This is serious wahala
They ain't seen nothing yet. The coup leader has been part of the top echelon of Niger as head of Presidential guide since 2011 yet very little is known about him outside the military circle.

This is why ecowas is moving in fast to prevent another Libya episode where sick people with guns littered over west Africa. God will help us succeed in Niger so peace, order and democracy can be quickly restored. If the coup plotter wants to rule, he should remove his army uniform, join or form a political party and contest to win election. Anything outside that is anarchy like we have started witnessing in Niger. Check my signature for free stuffs!

Its been long Nigeria had a coup, i am looking forward to one.

If i were God for 1week, i will compel everyone that has held elected or appointed political office from 1960, to give account of every financial dealings they had, and if you can't give the full details, you will die

Issokay. Those who are hailing them from this part of the country must be saddists and kiddos that don't really know how military junta works and never experience their actions before especially our naija version own. Python dance will be a child's play.
Children of 8 them.

Next is to hunt all those that have been using social media to attack them before now.

One recruit will slap you, collect your phone on the street and you won't be able to do anything.
They will enter any filling station and forcefully kidnap fuel without any payment, and you will smile at them.

Ordinary twitter regulations, buhari tried in Nigeria, all devils were let loose.

They should enjoy their new government in peace o. The problem now is that many natives hailing them now, will smuggle themselves to Nigerian northern part soon because of our porus border.

Good luck to them. Waiting for the next thing to get banned.
Many be to stop Google cyberspace from functioning.

Tinubu should be very careful in dealing with them. That's their own wahala.

Very good for them.
Were they not all celebrating the coup just a few days ago? Now they should reap the rewards.

Just like the children of perdition in Nigeria who keep beating drums of war and pray for military take over, thinking they're living in a video game simulation

Those that are attacking the coup plotters with this decision... is there any difference between them and ur leaders... can u express urself on social media without putting urself at risk of being arrested by DSS ... selective arrest .... youths were killed for protesting bad governance in Nigeria.....

I don't have a problem with coup in itself but it is always how the coup leaders tend to bring up archaic methods that amazes me every time.

Africa, which way now?

What ecowas is asking for is impossible.
What would happen to the coup plotters after releasing the president and returning him to power?
Only feasible solution is to tell them to conduct an election and hand over within a specified time period. They should give the president an option to test his popularity in the election.

Those political losers in Nigeria who were clamouring for coup on social media because their candidate lost, think that a military coup would allow them to protest on the streets or use the same social media they used to clamour for the military.

Too many kids thinking they are old enough to lead.
