Name just two Africa's country not practicing Demorcay that's is doing well.
If tomorrow the military takes over Nigeria, and the rights you enjoy in Nigeria are taken from you, you will be the first to regret.

Why not you name any African country that is enjoying any peaceful democracy without issues.

Except you are a new generation kid, Nigeria was far better under military rule because there was no nonsense as we see today. I wonder which right you are saying you enjoy as at today in democracy.

Compliment from the Russian regime,..
They claim to liberate Nigerians, yet they are limiting the freedom of the same people.
at least they're only limiting freedom of the people, when NATO wanted to liberate Libya the first thing they did was to destroy the Great man made river that was supplying water to the country, till date that tunnel has not been fixed

What's easier to track between Nairaland and Twitter? Nairaland is under full Nigerian jurisdiction.
Twitter just has better moderation than Nairaland.

They ain't seen nothing yet. The coup leader has been part of the top echelon of Niger as head of Presidential guide since 2011 yet very little is known about him outside the military circle.

This is why ecowas is moving in fast to prevent another Libya episode where sick people with guns littered over west Africa. God will help us succeed in Niger so peace, order and democracy can be quickly restored. If the coup plotter wants to rule, he should remove his army uniform, join or form a political party and contest to win election. Anything outside that is anarchy like we have started witnessing in Niger. Check my signature for free stuffs!
If he is scared of loosing election he can come and learn rigging strategy from the grandmaster himself. But sincerely, what's the difference between a rigged election and a military coup? Lecture me

This is why nobody should ever support a military coup!
The first thing they do is to suspend the Constitution, and that takes away your fundamental human rights to freedom of speech and movement, right to lawful gatherings, and to not be detained indefinitely without charge. Because they need to do all that to get a grip on power.

Social media is an addition. It is not needed for human survival in the first place. Just provide the needed things for the people. Social media people can leave the country to the west in the long run.

is there any country without issues,
Nigeria, South Africa, Egypt, Kenya, Ethiopia, Ghana,

Is there any war in this countries, 5 out if the six I listed are among the top ten economies in Africa,

If you want me to help you with the list of countries that are currently in one war or the other, which are ruled by strong men in Africa I can help you.

The sole aim of the military is to defend the country not to rule

Democracy is really far from Africa most especially in nigeria,
Na another person go win election but they impose another person on nigerians

Some people will have right to protest against EU report on the election but others dont have right to protest against hardship.

A country where executive ridicule judiciary anyhow they like.

It is going to be a very dangerous war for is all especially Nigerians in the north west ,the military regime is already enjoying popular support of the people so when they invade they will be fighting both the military and their supporter ,other 4 military regimes in Africa are most likely going to be fighting on the side of the military regime,WAGNER PMC will support the military regime with weapons, intelligence and possibly man power in disguise ,NATO on the other hand will support ECOWAS , refugees will fill Northwest of Nigeria and they will never go back even after the war ,banditry will increase in NW Nigeria even currently more than half of the bandits we are fighting are not Nigerians they're from niger and it's neighborhood

Niger can not even survive the sanctions.. one of the poorest countries.. Ecowas dont even need to invade them.. the sanction alone will cripple them.. my problem is after six month when things become harder for them.. their citizens will start running to nigeria to disturb us .. we dont need refugees in here.. we ourselve are managing here

This is in response to all the actions being put in place by the international community. Most times, the coup plotters don't suffer from the actions by the international community because they're in control of the country's power structure. It's the poor people in Niger that will suffer most at the end of the day

The millitary could aswell defend the country from cancerworm Democrat. Africa has lost all her initial value to democracy and our low self esteem is making us to strive for value from west which we don't understand. It will take a thousand year to do this. We are less than 100. Democracy sounds good. But the value needs to learned. This present generation is just unfortunate. The leaders not excluded because it promotes there sense of greed which is a torment.

And yet here you are doing the very same thing you claim you aren't allowed to do on Nigerian social media, without worrying in the slightest about any possible action by the DSS. I don't honestly think full democracy is for African.

Monachry in our traditional system of govt that our fathers praticed. A blend of this monarchy and democracy could have been perfect.

Most countries in Africa need a regime reset and Nigeria isn't an exception. Our leaders' excesses are just too much. NA alone is earning more than what 36 states put together are earning. Despite the economic downturn currently plaguing Nigeria, none of them had come out to say they want to cut down on the huge allocations accrued to them and their excesses. You see governors leaving power and retiring at the senate as if there are no competent citizens who can occupy the senate to represent their respective states.

A military coup would reset leadership here or better still, a revolution. Even those supporting their evil deeds are feeling the heat. They're only suffering and smiling.

I asked my business partner in Niger why their military had to do what they did , citing how their leader was so close to Nigeria and the immediate past administration. He said hed chat me later. He told me the man had committed a lot of atrocities since he was elected president and recently, he ordered the release of an alqaeda terrorist from prison, the move which had received the public condemnation. It won't be a bad thing if military should take over power in Nigeria and re-do things for us, including our useless constitution which favours only the elite. Afterdoing all these, they should arrest all of them and jail them, then restore our democracy by overseeing and conducting a free and fair election, then, return to barracks thereafter.

See our conversation below...

@the bolded..

Because power is sweet, they will never willingly return to Barracks once they have power... but I am sure there will always be coup after coup from one regime to the other

From whatever angle you want to see it, coup is never an option due to the greed of Africans..

But you people support the invasion of Ukraine in order to teach the west a lesson....while a large number of people are killed.

What happened in Libya was rebellion that led to overthrow and later led to spread of armed groups who have different motivation.
That of Niger is a coup.
It is internal affair and all externals should keep off.

He didn't stop the citizens from using social media. Just using it as a means to spread fake news or information they, the government see as harmful.
And what kind of news do you imagine an unelected regime of gunmen will declare to be "fake news" or "harmful", if not the very kind that reflects unfavourably on them? How slow upstairs can you be not to see this is how every single dictatorial regime justifies stifling all dissent and criticism?

E better make military take over Nigeria sef
