You think Nigeria win against Australia because they good? Continue deceiving yourself. Nigeria defeated Australia because the Australians were terrible in that day and their performance against Canada showed it all. Watch how England would pulverize your team. I hate mediocrity and people who think and live averagely

England are not necessarily playing well themselves, they've been struggling to score goals. So expect a boring game

Well, time will tell. When a team is full of top players, sparking into life and doing some damage can happen anytime. Still, they don't concede and still get the job done no matter how slim

Nigerians have to work on three fundamentals of football: passing, trapping and controlling the ball. It is very frustrating to watch Nigerian girls either passing the ball errantly or aimlessly to their opponents. The coaches must conduct a serious session of passing the ball to a teammate without looking to the floor. How could so-called professional players still trap the ball for an opponent? Even when they managed to pass the ball correctly, few teammates cannot control the ball. If Nigerians can get really good on the mental aspect of this game, they could ride to the final match.
You are almost right, what about scoring the goals that keeps you in tournaments or competitions?

The reason they have not hit top gear is because they have played the most minutes in female football
humberjade:

We can't play against England like we've done so far in this tourney, we go collect at least 3 goals. They are the European Champions, although they have not hit top gear in this tourney...I pray make dem no use us catch form.😅

You don't even get the point sir. Winning a match can mean one of two things...either you won not because you were good but because your opponents were bad, or you won because you were actually good even if your opponents were astounding. In Nigeria vs Australia case, we won not because we were good but because we faced a team that was very poor on that day. I mean look at the chances alone the Australians squandered. They had close to 30 shots and scored just two while Nigeria had just 6 shots the entire match. Looking at the stats from that match, any sane person can tell that Nigeria was just lucky to have scraped that win. Even the goal by Oshoala was just pure defensive blunder. The Australians improved their game as witnessed against Canada. But just look at how poorly Nigeria played today on the other hand.

Really? I didn't even think in that direction, I actually thought it has to do with the absence of key players like Mead, Kirby and Leah who were key players during their European triumph.

pls shut up.. you are sounding very foolish already... when Chelsea won the champions league in 2012.. was it luck, tactics or they were that good? What you need to win a competition is grinding out result you want.. the girls needed a draw today and they went for it... So you have no point.. I wonder what you would say come Monday after we've won England.i believe u going to the English team weren't good abi?

We Naija peeps can be funny , when the draws were made , no-one thought we will make it out of this group, we have ended up qualifying without loosing a match . There are no excuses in the world cup, we beat Australia fair and square.

As per today's match , which do you prefer: we play well and loose or we play badly and win or draw?
