Sentiment drives NSE . The bullish run that we experienced between June - July was a result of the sentiment behind the removal of subsidy and FX floating.

The euphoria those sentiments brought are now over and I don't see any catalyst propelling a general bull at the moment. We might experience some selective rallies but not a general bull run for now

The short term fixed income rate is beginning to look , if it continues to look good , it will further down the equity market cos attention will shift towards there.

CASH IS KING right now

With all the traditional stock brokers, why would you want one whose legitimacy needs clarification?

Yochaa is legit as legitimacy goes. But it doesn't have direct access to the NGX and therefore uses another traditional broker for its services, which, of course, adds another bottleneck and resultant charges.

Those "non-traditional" brokers allow you to open accounts even if you don't have certain SEC requirements such as NIN, and maybe BVN. People who were already in diaspora when these identities became mandatory have no choice than to do many things the"unconventional" way. More risks unfortunately.

Good reward, boss. Enjoy your loot.
Remember many people here invest in more than one market. It feels good to pocket 300% from US stocks, but it also feels great to pocket both US market gains and ride Access from N10 to N18, UBA from N8 to N15, Transcorp from N1+ to N4+, GTB, Japaul, many many more like that. Some people just can't forgive themselves for missing out on such opportunities, some other people just enjoy the feeling of "I was heavy in the market when new highs (above 65k ASI) were reached". When the "lows" arrive, both the people on the sidelines and those already in the market will still pick at good bargains. And if the "lows" never arrive in a near time, it's no regrets for those already in the market.

Congrats my man but leave our market for us grin. That your achievement is great but it is a dwarf to 750% that I achieved in FTNCOCOA. AND OVER 450% ACHIEVED IN ETERNAL OIL. grin

Bargainers are watching ETERNA, forget the way they're looking away now. smiley

When news surfaced for Dangsugar, they all were there on queue to buy......no one is talking about the loss again..
Those that panic sold @24.40/25 would be regretting their actions by now.

Let's keep watching how Mr. Market will do its thing..

On ETERNA, someone asked sometimes ago about the remaining 40% or so.......
* Preline thru Rainoil never mentioned exiting NGX
* Rainoil bought from 4 substantial shareholders or thereabout to become the highest substantial shareholder.
* The mandatory 0.1% made was just to fulfill the rules and regulations guiding the huge purchases made by Rainoil from the former substantial holders....
* As it is, no plan yet to exit, and.....if in case they opted for remaining shareholders' buy-out in future, it will favour the remaining shareholders much more........it's going to be opposite of what ARDOVA did.

* This is my view of it.

Why are you concerned about people who sold at 24.4/25, and how do you know they are regretting? Did u sell at that price? Are you regretting? The people or person that sold it to me at 17, what should that person do now? I think there is no need for that, it's there money and their choice.
