When it comes to this Erica's DQ, I've seen most people make the mistake of blaming her outburst solely on that Nengi and Kidd flirting on the dance floor shenanigan that night. While that was also a trigger for Erica, it wasn't the main issue. That deed was just the stroke that broke the camel's back.

The main frustration that led to Erica's outburst was Ebuka's coded revelation about what Laycon said about her to other HMs. When that eviction night ended and Erica approached Laycon for clarity and got none, Erica grew hatred for him. If you'd recall on the Monday the next day during her DS, she told Biggie that after Laycon refused to clarify what he had said about her to her, that he's now canceled to her. She went ahead to later nominate Laycon for the first time that season that same night (correct me if wrong).


That week, Erica also felt isolated and talked to Tolanibaj about it, even confirming that she had only Tolanibaj and Kidd as the people in her corner. Seeing Laycon distance himself from her while now being with Vee whom she disliked and felt was the reason her friendship with Laycon took a turn for the worse, made her boil within.


She was just harboring a lot of pent-up anger, bitterness and frustration on the house generally, so when the Nengi-Kidd flirting happened in the club, it triggered her and then she proceeded to attack her main target for the frustration which is Laycon. At that point, she was done with the whole house. It is why she even was mad at Prince and just about anyone.

No be that night be the first time Kidd and Nengi dey flirt, so why did she go crazy? It because of the build-ups of various frustration in that week and week leading to that week, that made her erupt. She needed an avenue to vent and Kidd and Nengi's flirting gave her one.


She was deservedly evicted sha and have herself alone to blame.

As a matter of fact, prior to Tbaj eviction, she had previously sent Tbaj to go meet Laycon to reconcile their issues, it was Vee who always asked Laycon not to get fooled again. That was when Erica and Laycon became distant until the party when Kidd and Nengi resumed their flirting again however Laycon wasn't available to use to make Kidd jealous thus her transfer of aggression.

So, it was her obsession and insecurity over Kidd (who didn't ask her out) that led to her disqualification.

People may probably compare Kidd & Erica situation to Yemi and Kobosi situation and I will say there's a bit of similarities, considering Yemi didn't also ask out Kobosi to begin with, aside the fact that it was Kobosi who went to Yemi's bed and started to blackmail him thereafter despite the fact that Yemi had previously informed her from the onset that he wanted nothing serious with her, aside the fact that her hypocritical self was also flirting with toddler yet she continued to play the victim and blackmail Yemi with the threat of disqualifying herself if she saw Yemi with other girls.

However, at some point, Yemi stopped flirting and concentrated on kobosi. At first, I thought it was Ebuka's question but I realised it wasn't. As a matter of fact, same Ebuka also tried to open Yemi's eyes subsequently later but still, he was unperturbed.
