The form is optional. If you have completed the study visa application form, it covers form 5257 as you will be issued a visa if your study visa application is approved even if you didn't include form 5257 in your application package.

So are you saying I shouldn’t bother to send it through webform since it is optional?

Yes!

For real? My mind is a bit at rest now. What year tho? Was it recently? So in conclusion, you are saying I should not bother sending it via webform right?

There is no college that will not require initial deposit, initial amount varies with institution. Click on this link for list of colleges in Ontario, you can also check Cape Breton University

Good luck

My GPA is 2.3
My bachelor's degree is in English Education.
Graduated 2015
Been doing business since I graduated.
Pls, I need school suggestions for a Post Graduate Program if it's possible to get one with my GPA.
Most importantly, schools with bearable and refundable tuition deposit or no deposit...

Thank You

When is your program suppose to start? you can wait for additional 1 week or just wait till last week of Aug before you initiate the process
StanOyiga72:
Happy Sunday to all respectful folks on this forum. Please is it time to start considering deferring admission for September intake. It's almost middle of August and considering that I applied on the 17th of July feedback may come around September. What do you guys think?

Good day people. I have been so down lately. My student visa to study in the US was denied, they said I have an immigration intent. I want to shift my attention now to Canada, since there are opportunities there after schooling. Is there any school that offer tuition waiver, I have GRE and TOEFL and graduated with 4.41 in electrical engineering 2018.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Ndukaada: 4:53pm On Aug 06, 2023

Can I retrieve my SOP and submit another one?

There is nothing like tuition fee, but rather scholarship or do you mean application fee waiver? If you want a scholarship then I suggest you set the sail start searching for a supervisor for F2024 who will be willing to work with you.

Take it easy. I know exactly how you feel. Try and get over the refusal. It's not easy but I've seen many people on this forum with 4 refusals but their successful application. Don't let it get to you. If it's what you really want to do, keep at it, you'll succeed.

Hi, please do not be downcast. It is just a bump on the road. Your CGPA is very high, you should be looking at getting scholarships for masters. Invest your time to look for folks that share scholarship updates on NL, Twitter, Linkedin etc, visit the websites of the U15 schools in Canada and start searching for scholarships, these 15 universities have huge funds set aside for scholarships or you can go back and search for schools in America that have scholarships available for students and retry.

No, all documents you are submitting after you have transmitted your application is at the discretion of the VO to accept or not except when they request for it.

But it does not stop you from submitting the SOP, who knows they might accept it.
