What tactics did the English side have?

Una go just open your mouth and talk nonsense.

A better team was dominated for 120 minutes, your mumu mouth say they had tactics.
Don't mind the ignoramuses.

The Super Falcons of Nigeria were tactically better and missing penalty kicks is common. Even Lionel Messi and other famous award winning players in the history of soccer have missed penalty kicks.
Nigeria demystified England, the European Champions.

Alozie is the worst in the match today

From the first match, she always seemed to be the nemesis waiting to happen. It’s unfortunate it eventually came to pass.

Either she didn’t have solid competition or she was just coach favorite.

4 super-mods on Nairaland can't handle the toxicity of thousands of semi-humans on NL, the forum breeds hardcore tribalists.

Seun your forum is behind its shadow, most Threads on the frontpage are more dominant with toxic-tribal comments.

Just take a look at this sport Thread.

Very well said.

His management is piss poor and have devalued the forum.

He is more worried about insults than tribalism.

Was there enough preparation for the falcons that almost boycotted the world cup a week to the tournament due to unpaid monies?

Did you even believe they would qualify from that group of death that had top rated teams like Australia and Canada?

All you pips know is to sit your butts and criticize!

The falcons deserve more than enough commendation considering what they have been through!
...Can we stop all this "they tried" this a team where most players have been together in years...how do we commend a team that played almost 50minutes without a goal..never had just 2 shots on target...and u people sound as if this ladies play in Nigeria most of them play in top teams in Europe...today england was the better side..even with a red card they were still slicing through us and playing...we kept playing long balls even wen we could just out the ball in the ground and create chances .. they should just go back and work...enough of the " they tried shit"...tht language wins u nothing in soccer

Dem go watch football and come up with anal-esis from their asses.

Nigeria dominated and outclassed a Top 5, better funded and superior team, even before the red card; a team expected to thrash them like 5-0, but he is talking NONSENSE!

The reason why this defeat is hard to swallow is because the girls played so well. We knew they could have beaten those English girls. At a point, the match was theirs to lose.

But kudos to the girls. No true Nigerian can say he or she was not proud of today's display.

Our general performance in this World Cup is also encouraging. We bowed out without a loss. 3 clean sheets in 4 matches. 3 draws and 1 win. Beautiful overall performance.

We must not forget that we played 4 quality opponents and yet bowed out unbeaten.

Honestly, I didn't think we would be able to hold them to a goalless draw, through extra time and penalties.

Nonsense.

Are you saying it is uncommon not to score against 10 players even in the men's game?

Una be emotional analyst.
Oga you deceiving yourself...

There is a reason coaches like Guardiola are coveted all over the world.

If your team hits the post 3 times and trail an opponent you largely outplayed 2-4 on shots on target, then something is wrong.

Talent most times is hardly enough...

This is a match Nigeria had no business losing...

We cannot make the upgrade if we continue this loser's habit of saying that "at least we tried"...

Morroco got to the semi-final of the men's World cup despite having no previous experience of going beyond the round of 16...

They didnt down tools after beating Spain...They tasked themselves and they delivered.

Low ambition and lack of deliberate application are sure-fire routes to mediocrity...
