Nigeria dominated and outclassed a Top 5, better funded and superior team, even before the red card; a team expected to thrash them like 5-0, but he is talking NONSENSE!

The reason why this defeat is hard to swallow is because the girls played so well. We knew they could have beaten those English girls. At a point, the match was theirs to lose.



But kudos to the girls. No true Nigerian can say he or she was not proud of today's display.




Our general performance in this World Cup is also encouraging. We bowed out without a loss. 3 clean sheets in 4 matches. 3 draws and 1 win. Beautiful overall performance.



We must not forget that we played 4 quality opponents and yet bowed out unbeaten.
