Those aren't any better. Have you thought about the amount of chemicals these fish-pond-bred catfish are laced with? Their food, vaccine and fattening vitamins are very much laced either toxins. Smoked catfish aren't better because smoking is not a healthy choice for humans.

I don't eat fishes from the pond. cool

Ice fish isn't healthier than fresh meat.

Most of those fishes, stay in cold rooms for over 7 months, during which power failure, faulty generators...etc would affect it's texture, thus making them unfit for consumption.

I read somewhere that the lifespan of frozen fish shouldn't exceed 5 months. Unfortunately, in Nigeria, there is no authority to enforce that law so merchants can even store their imported fishes for up to a year, meaning it would exceed it's shelf life by the time it gets to the retailers and then consumers like you and I.

So technically, we're eating poison. May God save us.

Red meat is basically poison for majority of our adults.

That portion looks small though. Considering the attendant stress that comes with your choice, I would rather buy in kilograms from the market.
That can not be all.

We couldnt pack all to the table.

The meat plenty seriously.

How do you intend to preserve it? Hope you have an inverter powered deep freezer? You people in the north are enjoying cheap foods, I doubt if you can get a cow for 400k here in Lagos

Through the year end? It's like you don't eat meat much, I prefer fish to meat and it's healthier.
Only the head of cow would take the family a month if they eat meat once daily.

Healthier- not disputing, but my late grandfather was a diehard meat person and he died at the age of 100. Ironically, I know some fish persons that died prematurely. So, a man got to die when he is got to.

Croaker fish and catfish is farmed here in Nigeria. Infact, catfish are sold life. So they're fresh.

I'm talking about fishes that are imported and stored in cold rooms.

Catfish is worse fish to eat, is not healthy.

Truly I prefer fish to meat, especially catfish and croaker fish. I also like goat meat more than cow meat.

Which fish is healthier
First you don't know how it was preserved
Second many of them were killed in ways you don't know
Many of them contain lead. Kidney and liver risk.
They were dead.

This is cheap in my opinion. Cow in keffi should be cheaper than cow in PH. I see what my office people dey buy share.

Nothing like buying stuff in bulk. Meat sellers make gain from selling in bits(main aim of venturing into any business sha). So this is good.
