Nice one. I do not support war. Sanctions are more effective.

It remains African Union (after the expiry of the ultimatum this week) and other Foreign countries impose their sanctions too.

Just as I wrote on a different thread, Niger republic is not that strong enough to withstand multiple sanctions. 40% of its budget is financed by other African countries and the West. Those countries just need to hold back that 40%.
Sanction is irrelevant at this point.
Iran, Russia ,China, North Korea beat western sanction and are prospering.
And some of these guys are behind Niger, nothing go happen.

Why are they not mentioning the sanctions? I doubt if there was any more sanctions remaining. They are just saving face for failure of their ultimatum

I dont know how old you are but you just probably need some growing up to understand economics. The whole of Niger is in total darkness just because of ONE SANCTION, Nigeria has already stopped supply of GAS for electricity transmission to that country. Do you know how much it costs to get gas to transmit electricity? As much as I dont support the way the west has been milking the African continent, these group of soldiers think too much of the Uranium deposit in their country. If internet connectivity is eventually sanctioned in that country, it will not take long before they're sent back to the STONE AGE. Maybe Russia will help them for free.

I swear, a lot of the individuals who support APC and this government are heavy retards!

So you somehow sat in your father's house and figured out that the entire Niger republic is in total darkness grin? You need to return to school, so you'll learn how to research and read properly.

Bro, the problem is the after effects of Victory , The Americans and Russians have very noble things to say when they enter other countries .

But no body prepared for Guerilla war .

We don't want war as many people can make our lives as hell .

A country far off like Libya ,when destabilized made our live worst .

Na wah. Sanctions never work. It is the poor that will suffer.
Anyway, a better well adviced move than the previous blunder.
This is more diplomatic, leaving room to maneuver. Why I say this is because the details were not released. I short for all you know it might just be figurative. But in public eyes, something is being done.

You aren't smart if you don't know biological warfare is efficient once there are antidotes to reverse the effects than using guns..
I am.not advocating for the use of those deadly weapons so I won't engage you further.. The summary of my post is that the Niger coupists still think the world is in the stone age when guns and tanks are feared.

Omo keep quiet abeg. How u go live under brown roof and know the rules of engagement, did the French forces used and chemical or biological weapon when similar thing happened in Abidjan?

Wrong move by the coup plotters. Prayers of the jihadis trying to take over the country has been answered.

Nigeria was also helping Niger republic military and Buhari gave them some military vehicles recently.

The US and Canada have also suspended their military aid to help the country fight the jihadis.

Every country on that supporting list in the screenshot below 👇 will be pulling out or suspending their activities.

My concern: the jihadis would become stronger and launch attacks on other countries from Niger Republic.

Malian coup plotters chased out the West and lost it's military support, jihadis have now taken over half of Mali. When their citizen complain, they get thrown into jail.

Don't u think then, it's a very good reason for Nigeria not to starve Niger in terms of food, finances & military aid....after all, once these terrorists infest enough of Niger, na Nigeria them go attack next..West doesn't really give a shyt, they can negotiate with d terrorists to get access to d necessary resources they required...It's Ecowas & Nigeria that would be in deep shyt!
