Both yummy. I ate the big bowl of salad first and couldn't finish the beef potato-carrot stew but it was also delicious. This is a very busy restaurant (the place was packed). Same thing as the Cracker Barrel. Americans definitely love to eat!

Car culture is one of the contributors to obesity in America. Can’t get anywhere if you don’t have a car. It really sucks because people would love to bike or walk to distances if they can but the architecture is not designed to favor that kind of lifestyle.

Thanks! Yes, everything is big in the U.S. I'm in Chicago now and the buildings are massive and breathtaking!!! Apparently, Chicago is the birthplace of skyscrapers!!! These Architects did not come to play! The rain in Chicago no be here, though. It has felt a bit like autumn. My uber driver the other day told me the winters are also really cold. I'm used to cold winters, so I'm not phased.

I enjoyed the baked bacon and parmesan mac n' cheese and the fish fillet at the Cracker Barrel in Michigan. The mac n' cheese was nice. I wished it was bigger but it was a side dish, hence the size. They ought to make it a main meal.

My fav. (non-Nigerian) foods are Lasagne and Pizza, though . I'm still here for a few more days and hope to find a restaurant with these foods. I may find a Nigerian restaurant as well but the few I've looked up don't have good reviews.

There are American flags everywhere in the states, or at least according to my observation. And people talk exactly like they do on TV.

Thanks for sending me that picture of the buildings in Chicago. They look proper bonkers. I bet you are having a blast exploring the city. Yeah, it's quite nippy in the winter.

Speaking of winter, it can get quite chilly in London. The days are short and grey, and the nights are long and dark. But there's something cosy about snuggling up in front of a fire with a cuppa and a good book. And there are plenty of things to do in London in winter, like visiting the Christmas markets, ice skating, or catching a show at the theatre.

I'm glad you enjoy the American cuisine. Macaroni cheese is a good one too. It's so creamy and cheesy and delicious. Have you tried any other dishes that are similar to macaroni cheese? I've heard that Americans love their casseroles, which are basically baked dishes with pasta, cheese, meat, and veggies. They sound lush, don't they? Well, about lasagne and pizza. I think they're alright, but nothing beats a good old fish and chips.

I've also noticed that there are a lot of American flags everywhere in the US. Maybe it's because they are proud of the country, some sort of patriotism Or it's just a habit!

Here, the architecture is designed for exclusively trekking in some places. I parked my car somewhere far to go and get something in one city and was fined 35pounds on Saturday. Late payment 70 quid. I swore next time, no car. Unless you are disabled, you walk. Just keep on walking or bike and biking if you live close. The system discourage people from driving a lot.

Ah,it seems our men are the same oh. He will eat spaghetti,rnb and his swallows are either eba or tuwon rice. Maize and semo hardly except he has no option. Yam not really a fan especially boiled,potatoes when available. Abacha, no way. Nigerian soup: favourite egusi and groundnut soup least and manageable okro(fresh or dried). So sometimes as am making egusi,am preparing bitter leaf or oha. He said am teaching his children how to eat rubbish but I no send oh,the children should get use to it so they can survive anywhere.
