On a serious note. The award for the most useless stock goes to AIICO insurance.
One of the problem AIICO has is the overbloated outstanding share of over 36.6bn compared to Sunu & custodian that have just over 5.8bn outstanding shares. Mansard was able to navigate this with their share reconstruction of 4:1 about 2 years ago. However, AIICO has good products that generates income for them. They are the official insurer to some airlines like Ibom air and ValueJet, they charged 1k for insurance for every passenger on flight. Going forward, I still think AIICO has the potential to make good return for shareholders that can be patient enough.

Presently, in terms of price earning ratio (PE) in the insurance sector, it is as follow:

Cornerstone - 1.7
Mansard - 2.7
Sunu - 2.7
AIICO - 4.6
Custodian - 10.45

Lol. If you follow Simply Wall stock valuation, you'll end up picking wrong stocks and miss the good ones out.

If you check what the valuation is for UCAP, you'll laugh.
They don't have sufficient data to base their valuation on most times.

I am a business man.I don't sell my goods at loss. And whr it renders services we charge to stay in profit and pay expenses associated with the business

I luv hero stout. When dollars was 700 plus.I buy it from local bar 500.If I had save dollars at 700 plus and sell at 900 plus. And go and buy my hero stout now at #800.Has the dollars really helped my ministry. Abi I will never convert back the dollars to naira to spend

I'm sorry, but how can you love Hero stout sir? That thing tastes horrible and it doesn't do anything for me. It's a weak stout. Guinness or Legend for the win!
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Lion123: 10:51am On Aug 11, 2023
Smartest thing I did weeks back was liquidating all my Naira assets on the NSE and eslewhere and just jejely buying USD at circa N770. Holding Naira stocks for the long-term, no matter how well they perform over time is always a bad idea especially for folks like us who have a lot of usd-denominated expenses.

IEI did series of share reconstruction and created additonal shares as well since 2007. They did a share reconstruction of 1 for 3 in 2007 and 1 for 5 in 2013.
