Eterna is on a free fall.

Is it advisable to jump in?

Anything below #20 from that company is wickedness.

There is nothing like that. CSCS account doesn't expire. Send a mail to customer care to ask for your statement. It's a free service.

Individual access expires. It has to be renewed yearly.

Not everyone goes through broker to get a copy of CSCS statement when one can have an individual access.

@BabsO2, It's the use of language. That means he meant to say his annual subscription expired not cscs account expired. Yes, cscs account annual subscription access expires but the cscs account itself doesn't.

I am lost here. I have CSCS since 2009 and it has not expired. I have another one with Afrinvest since 2016, not expired. Also with Morgan capital since 2019. I have been using them.

The only thing that expires is access to cscs platform to view your potfolio. which is renewed annually.

To say that one's CSCS number in itself expires gets me confused

CSCS account registered through your Broker don't expire.
CSCS subscription to view your account directly(without Broker) expires yearly .

One of the problem AIICO has is the overbloated outstanding share of over 36.6bn compared to Sunu & custodian that have just over 5.8bn outstanding shares. Mansard was able to navigate this with their share reconstruction of 4:1 about 2 years ago. However, AIICO has good products that generates income for them. They are the official insurer to some airlines like Ibom air and ValueJet, they charged 1k for insurance for every passenger on flight. Going forward, I still think AIICO has the potential to make good return for shareholders that can be patient enough.

Presently, in terms of price earning ratio (PE) in the insurance sector, it is as follow:

Cornerstone - 1.7
Mansard - 2.7
Sunu - 2.7
AIICO - 4.6
Custodian - 10.45

[img][/img] [img][/img]

Mansard and Custodians are in different businesses that incorporate insurance. Sunu and Cornerstone are strictly speaking, insurance companies.

Otedola news never favors retail investors, its a game of try ur luck and insider bickering as compared with his counterpart Dangote....... from Dangote flour to tiger foods back to dangote flour to being sold to crown flour mills, retail investors that keyed in made fantastic profits

Otedola is a portfolio investor like me, i can bet he cant run a bank, he has probably seen a quick way to double his money

I have fbnh in my portfolio bought about 3 years ago @ circa #6.5.....

But and i say but........

There was a period about 4 years ago or so that fbnh dalleyed around #2.5, when dat fat dude “i’ve forGotten his name “ was ousted as ceo after gross mismanagement

That would have been the best time to buy as a retail investor then sell to people like Otedola now dats making the news.....

If u are not in the boat already, dont bother jumping in , u might be burnt badly

I really think one should buy into companies that falters and u see frantic efforts being made by the majority owners and management to save the companies cos if these companies finally stabilizes u reap the benefit as a retail investor

I have also burnt my hands in the process as I have warehouse a substantial amount of oando but i wont offload it, I will rather watch it go down d drain as a constant reminder to always consider the intentions and prerogative of the keymen and management

They must be ready to fight to death to save or salvage something from their sinking companies

It depends on the price of the rights issue. With book value currently at N38. And assuming EPS will stay above N4.5. If rights issue is not more than N20 I will take the rights with the hope that the price will still rise towards N30 and beyond post rights issue.
