sukkot:Very few royalty in Lagos are even as original Awori as these guys you are trying to rubbish their ancestry. Your so called royalty is not royalty but a village chief who was updated by Tinubu. Very few real Royalty in Lagos. Not these cash and carry ones that your family probably belongs to. Which is why you obviously know nothing about Lagos Island families. We are different from the bush ones from the mainland. So don’t insult us. We are responsible for the Lagos you are proud of today. 2 Likes |

FreeStuffsNG: We all know this, na akpu eaters wan dey sell false narratives and misinformation. How can some people open their smelly mouth and say they made Lagos. A whole 4th largest economy in Africa. Lagos made them, not the other way round. They only came to Lagos to make a living. With or without them, Lagos will remain Lagos 3 Likes |

FreeStuffsNG: What's the correlation between the topic and your useless chestbeating? You wey no know history of Lagos dey shout upandan. Use Google to educate yourself instead of ranting online. The Portuguese and British made Lagos what it is, I have my ancestry from Lagos and I don't go about beating my chest nor support the fraudster called Tinubu. Have you asked your ignorant self why most names of families claiming Lagos indigene are slave names from Brazil and Portuguese? We the Aworis are the real indigene of Lagos, our ancestors are fishermen. Who know your father? You are not even ashamed that there's no single Yoruba name on the list of names you mentioned, I thought you are also claiming to be Yoruba, eyin omo eru omo ale jati jati.

2mch:the only thing you are responsible for is repatriating here in the 1800s with that white mans name and white mans money and coming to grab all the land in Lagos with that white zaddys money. Am the real Lagos royalty in this mahfuka. My family built and still is building Lagos as we speak. My brother is who went and bought all the Lagos blue line trains and ferry’s from Milwaukee USA. We doing good work out here |
Re: Lawrenco Antonio Cardoso Family Takes Possession Of Apapa Land With 300 Houses by 2mch(m): 4:09pm On Aug 11, 2023 |
sukkot:Your family built nothing in Lagos I can assure you. Those names up there are responsible for most of the building in Lagos and setting up Lagos for what it is today. Your family were largely isolated and living in remote villages. Even your father cannot make the claims you are making here. Who do you think you are chatting with? Go and ask your father, Lagos Island families made all the moves for Lagos and were the richest and most educated Nigerians. So where does your family come in? Only 4-5 real royal families in Lagos. Oba of Lagos, Benin and Lagos Island Awori ancestory. Onikoyi of Ikoyi, Oyo Ancestry. Elepe of Epe, Epe Ancestry. Ayangburen of Ikorodu, Ikorodu ancestry. If your family does not belong to any of these then you don’t come from a real Lagos royal family but from a political chief subject to one of these families. 3 Likes |

2mch:there you go with all that crazy talk bro. Your family came here after my family built this place up. You guys are barely 150 years old in Nigeria. Are you saying Lagos state is only 150 years old ? Put some respek on a Niggas name for all the hard work we did putting this place together before you immigrants joined us in the 1800s. Put some respek on a niggas name ![]() |

sukkot:I belong to at least 3 of those Lagos Royal families too. Your family built nothing in Lagos. Lmao. Go and ask who built Lagos and you will see all these families names come up. Oyinbo did not even know you exist except we brought you out for taxing. Which your family remits to our Oba’s and administrators. Call your family name if e sure for you! I am even sure if you do, they are probably not Awori. |

Everyone should better develop and occupy their native land, not for the sake of this year or next, but in 30-50 years to come. I really pity those saying another man's land is no man's land. Technically the current landlords on the affected land area now has to move their houses for the real owners of the estate to use their lands, making them tenants once again as house relocation services isn't available in Nigeria. I wonder how the Eze n'digbo of that estate will feel now ![]() 2 Likes |

2mch:if I call my family name you will prostrate for me right now but I don’t want to do that to you lol. Bro you slave descendants are barely 150 years in Lagos while Lagos has been rocking for over 300 years now. When we was building Lagos yo ass was picking cotton at a plantation in Virginia. sukkot:Ignorant kid. Nobody returned from America except immigrants. Call the name of the royal family you belong to let me laugh!!! The fact that Vaughn family intermarried with Lagosians give them a claim because we do not deny the children of our girl children their right. I assume you do not know that. You assume our association of lineage is only paternal. A Lagosian will never say that. But an Easterner or South Southerner will assume so. So your ancestry on that point is suspicious. 1 Like |

Chop knuckles especially with your last statement. This is what most people do not understand. When you try to explain, they will bring in the tribal game. The only place you can claim to own the land is in your ancestral village. Reason why I will still go back to my village to buy land. Just that Village people wahala too much. BreconHills: |

2mch:see nigga that’s why they call your name 2mch because yo ass be talking too much shit. Just cuz we now accept Vaughn as Yoruba doesn’t mean he wasn’t an African American slave immigrant. In fact if you go on YouTube and Google the family you will see the Nigerian Vaughan meeting up annually with the American Vaughan who never left America |

sukkot:You talk like someone that is not well trained. A true Lagosian does not speak such crass way. We are known and respected for our class. Now, all this Nigga talk is an ignorant kid talk. Vaughn experience is not all Lagos family experience but a very tiny minority. Even most Sierra Leone returnees who escaped a slave ship wreck did not settle in Lagos but returned to their villages. Even Fani-Kayode ancestor went straight back to his village in Osun. These people knew where they were from but you, a googler is trying to tell us about Lagos history. Making spurious claims that don’t follow logic. |

2mch:ok so am trolling with the speech pattern. Let me tell you a story. I go to eko Atlantic City very often. A gentleman comes there all the time racing his very expensive Porsche . We get to talking. Turns out he is Lagos island royalty. His dad is the one who wrote the constitution that freed us from colonization and gave Nigeria its independence. You can Google the name. It’s one of these slave names. It’s Elias . Now the guy blew my mind when he told me their ancestry traces back to Ethiopia. I was mind blown. ELIAS |

sukkot:Lmao. Elias family does not come from Ethiopia. That guy was whining you because he knows you are ignorant. Elias family are probably from Onikoyi branch and adopted an English name. That is why he claims he is from a traditional Yoruba aristocratic family. Check out his history, Taslim Olawale Elias? If you want to catch a true Lagosian, they have Muslim names too with that English name. Taslim does not claim to come from Ethiopia ![]() 2 Likes 1 Share |
