Yeah, I copied my Dad's signature, removed the first letter and put mine. Stuck with me ever since. One time, I had an issue, the Cashier told me it looks different. I simply told her with time we all add a little som'n som'n to beautify our signature, yeah? She smiled in approval.

Signature is signature,it must be permanent, it's your identity,your will!

My signature unfortunately isn't consistent as I suffered a traumatic event some years that makes my hands a bit shaky.

My bank already knows this so it's not an issue

I have a consistent signature. However, the one I used to open my Ecobank account in 2009 is still there. Whenever I go to the bank to withdraw money, they always tell me that the signature is not correct 😃😃.

Funny part is that, they still use the picture they snapped me then and I have changed alot.

I told them to update my information and they said I should bring affidavit, I just abandon am for their.

I think I have just one. Signature is simply writing your name in your regular handwriting.
Just like DNA, our writing patterns are unique.
The only time I had issues with signing was when I took a bike in the rain for about 15km as I was trying to beat time, getting to the bank, I could not even fill the teller, the bank AC was turned off because of me as I was shivering severely from cold.
Someone helped me to fill the teller, to sign became a problem, I was eventually allowed to make the transaction

The story is quite funny. But the summary is that, in JSS3, a classmate came up with the idea of having signatures, and we just started scribbling and practising. It didn't stop with school as I took the exercise personal. I checked my Dad's and noticed that he used his initials, so I thought to use the first two letters of my name. At the time it looked childish😜, but with constant usage, having tweaked it a few times in addition to my calligraphic writing, e don fine small.

I don't remember ever forgetting my signature. Possibly cos it begins with my name though.

We have the same story. Mine was when u wanted to sign a teller for my school fee payment in bank. My dad told me to use my initials, and surname, tweaked it to he better now though.

Yes I do! I do resolved banks related problems from home. Emailing is a power tool for me, most reputable company/ banks do respect email messages and treat it with immediate effect. If it's necessary to sign, scan upload any documents. I won't bother to go out of my room. Its been solved right inside my closet

My signature has nothing to do with my name and I have been consistent with it over the years. I was trying to copy my Pry 4 teachers signature because I sit in front and most times he signs his stuff on my desk so I practiced for a while and then coined my own out of it. Wish I can meet Mr. Elliot again though.

Physical Signature is as important for personal authentication as e-password is important for digital access.
As an Adult, even a full-time SAHM, you'd be mandated to sign a fair share of documents - either for official or transactional purposes.
I have two sets of signatures, one strictly for official settings and the other for informal settings.
