TimFisher2: Your IPOB brother who kidnapped and tortured him isn't a tribalist, but those who decided to speak against it are the tribalists right? Even in the video you heard all the things they said yet that is normal cos crime is a normal lifestyle to your people... Some of you have mental problems. 2 Likes |

Hpesoj: Plenty of companies have paid ransom on drivers and support staff. I personally know of several. What is 3.5m to a human beings life? The fact that a company paid the ransom does not mean that they were the sole contributors. Do you imagine the guy will self harm just to do what? Assuming he has self harmed for publicity - why is he not shouting from the roof tops and selling interviews? What is bad is bad. Let us not ignore the fact that there are no innocents anywhere. If this story is doubtful what about the military couple that was beheaded in the east? What about the northern woman that was killed alongside her young children? In these two instances, their bodies were displayed in a macabre manner. We cannot say because some people want to score points against each other we should be silent when evil comes from those we may have sympathies for. Neither should be hypocritical by absolving some evils and castigating others. Evil is evil wherever it springs from. Your detached cynically bystander approach is no better than those supporting these evil acts. 1 Like |

Unknown Gun Men was created from the main group, after the main group thought they will get sympathy of other Nigerians and the world but instead what they get is the title of the 10th most deadliest terrorists group in the world. With UGM, just like bandits, they can carry out their nefarious activities without any individual or group being held responsible. And this is exactly what had been happening and what jusr happened in the case of this Abioye guy. It is their way of sourcing funds to further their activities. You lots can continue to pretend to be ignorant of this fact, but it is what it is. Abioye's kidnappers are not random criminals; they're the terrorist arm of a particular secessionist ethnic group! 2 Likes 1 Share |

clearcrystal:You Yorubas are weird. We've seen plenty videos and images of herdsmen killing and maiming your tribesmen even in yorubaland but hardly do we see the kinda outburst we saw you guys display on this thread concerning the "kidnapped" Yoruba man. Why is this? And it's same thing on other threads. I really want to know why. Is it out of fear of the northerners or out of hatred for the Igbo man?? |

Sermwell: UGM collects ransom.. It is only in cases when they are determined to kill an individual that they get him and kill... When they are looking for ways to sustain their operations..they snatch cars and kidnap.. You think UGM pays for the SUVs and siennas they use for their operations? Use your head and don't let hate blind you This isn't the first time they have kidnapped and filmed however this is first for a Yoruba..how ever he just got unlucky not that he was a target..if not they would have killed |

clearcrystal: Do a simple Google search and see for yourself the way your people are being murdered https://guardian.ng/news/suspected-fulani-killer-herdsmen-attack-ogun-community-kill-three/ https://saharareporters.com/2022/01/15/five-killed-many-injured-houses-burnt-herdsmen-attack-ogun-community. They even burnt a community https://www.premiumtimesng.com/regional/ssouth-west/526908-special-report-inside-ogun-communities-where-herders-farmers-fatal-clashes-persist-while-govt-dithers.html?tztc=1 This is from a simple Google search, and this is only Ogun State. People are being killed daily in yorubaland but I see no outcry but on any single thread concerning Igbo land you guys masturbate furiously. My landlord in Ogun waterside where I did my NYSC years ago told me most parts of the community has been taken over by herdsmen but I see no outcry. Why do you guys have mouth only when igboland or an Igbo man is concerned? |

pocom35: Your being from the SE or not is of no concern to me. Fulani has been killing Yorubas even in their own land, why haven't they cried out over it? Yorubas have been killing Igbos, themselves and other tribes for rituals, has there been this type of outcry? A man was kidnapped in Igbo land and Yorubas rushed to the thread to threaten and bark like rabid dogs. The person who posted it on twitter even said the man was killed but it turned out it was a kidnap. Just 6 threads before that thread of FP, there's a thread about gunmen killing people in Benue, did you see any of the fools making noise on this thread in that one? You amuse me 1 Like |

BreconHills: I'm not saying there are no killings in the East, neither am I suggesting that the video is a publicity stunt. However, I'm always careful with such reportings because of the political undertones that they often carry. They are sometimes influenced by the so called rival between the Yoruba and Igbo. Sam goes with the ritual killings and drug-related topics. If you go through the comments on such topics you will understand what I mean. I'm from Shiroro, one of the most terrorised LG in the country currently. How many times have you read about the daily killings going on there. Do you think the Bandits on the SW have stopped or he BH have repented? Those making these reportings are not doing so because they want to contribute to solving the myriad security issues in the country. They're often intended to score cheap political point. Both those from th SE and SW are, unfortunately, quilty of these. 1 Like |
