Just to correct that notion about Arizona. Yes you do need license but yes you can work your braiding and run cash business nobody’s chasing you so OP should be fine.

Majority of blacks in Arizona are concentrated in Maricopa county (ie Phoenix and its suburbs), Flagstaff is a touristy and college town, the black population is a handful. I’m assuming his/her campus will be in Flagstaff.

Flagstaff is good, chill and you’d enjoy it out there, and it snows like crazy just any other cold state. But the black population is only a handful unfortunately… you will probably meet some on the campus and don’t sleep on getting white client too if you choose NAU.

Good luck to the OP

I never knew Arizona had a sizable black population. I have 2 cousins there, a Sola and an Ope.

Hmmm...We have things in common, but the bitter truth is that it's not going to be an easy ride getting a good job here without American work experience. The easiest jobs here I have seen so far are driving and sales rep jobs.

Besides, have you evaluated your degrees to American standards, to at least give you an edge? If not, Try to get that done and keep applying. You can start from those low-paying jobs too while still looking for a better one.

I have family friends a couple with 3 kids to be precise, they all just got US tourist visa B2. The husband has a good job here in Nigeria while the wife and 2 kids intend to travel to the US by mid october to settle there.
Presently she needs a relatively affordable accommodation, guidance on which state to settle and a Job pending when the husband gather funds for accommodation and others. She can do tailoring and other menial Job. She is of good character and a committed member of Deeper life here.

Pls any meaningful suggestions on this forum

Apparently, being a committed member of Deeper life means nothing to her morals since she's trying to commit visa fraud. undecided

Let me just clear you now. She will see shege. And it's her foolish husband that agreed to this I pity the most. Even single men that are illegal dey see pepper in US not to talk about a woman with two kids.

They’re planning to commit visa fraud? She isn’t of good character at all. Nobody is going to risk their affairs accommodating anyone on a tourist visa or risk their business by giving a good job to someone who isn’t authorized to work in this country.

What she is intending to do is visa fraud. She is just a member of deeper life but the life of Christ is not in her. If she have her migrate Visa i can even be of help to her both assigning a total free accommodation for her for three months to enable her and kids settle down and also help her with job contacts but with tourists Visa no way. Advise her to vist and go back and be of good behaviour .

The amount of money you have is of minimal importance as it relates to you getting into the USA. What is your plan and what sort of Visa would you be seeking?

no lele. Make she just link up with IbeOkehie. He is one Nairalander who is very very vocal about how even illegals can make a great life in the USA. He has toed this path successfully and can show her the ropes so she doesn't see any shege...maybe he'll be gracious enough to offer free accommodation till she gets her footing. A little help can go a long way, and I KNOW he CAN help. So Olurotimi do well to act on this and ASK him (DM or mention his monicker), you never know oo.

@Treadway - So you are encouraging her to commit crime?

You do realize that the reason why it is difficult to obtain US visitor's visa for many Nigerians that wants to visit US for genuine reasons and return back to Nigeria is majorly due to people like this that will visit and not return.

Also, you should know that this forum is not meant to encourage crime or intents to commit crime. We are here to support each other in non illegal ways on all sorts of issues that does not involve any criminal act.

It is a public site and everyone can see what you say here including US gov officials. Please be guided, we are only damaging our image more by putting up this kinds of comments up here.

@olurotimi - Madam, please do not ask for post illegal materials here, what are you asking is how someone can commit visa fraud and it is a crime which is also against the rules of this forum.

first of, dial it down. If we check well, many people you know personally have probably done same or worse. I have come to not take 'holier than thou' posts seriously.

Secondly, I sought to connect that person with someone who has been so loud on Nairaland for months now, about how even illegals can make a living even better than Nigerian CEOs. Check his post history and see for yourself.. and even aside him there are way more indicting posts on Nairaland, so that ship has
looong sailed! You/people didn't have a problem with IbeOkehie saying this, but you have something to say about connecting someone who needs that particular help with HIM who has been screaming at the top of his lungs that what this person is seeking is very doable and even encourages everyone in Naija to do same. I was simply connecting someone with a problem to a person with a solution and has even toed same path (it now remains to see if talk will be cheap in this instance as usual or not).

And yes, I'll repeat, the person I mentioned has been advocating for people to commit this so called 'crime' if that is what it takes to enter USA, but no furore from you, other members, the mods or anyone else....but when people act on 'by hook or crook japa oo' you still kick..

Shey day just break ni??

Lol .

Moral of the lesson, Olurotimi modify your post by removing the preconceived decision to overstay. We all know that just about anyone who gets a visit visa to the US isn't planning on coming back, so it goes without saying...lol

Now will the judges (including you) be kind enough to un-quote or modify his 'crime-ridden' quoted post ? Let's see.

Oh well, so you think referring people to where they will do illegal stuff is any different from the person telling them how to do illegal stuff? And in your mind you are the saint and IbeOkehie is the bad guy?

Anyways, I can't stop you but I can tell you that it is wrong and you should stop it.
