Very poor and inaccurate movie. Cant imagine how anyone who is familiar with yoruba history could bear to watch it.

Another one is Gbogunmi knew Gbotija could talk and command trees yet he dropped the sword and used a wooden knife. He might have sacrificed himself knowing what Gbotija has not told anybody except him

I felt same too.

Gbogunmi gave up himself for Gbotija. Remember he had also given him his jazz. So I don't think he even had any powers during that fight.

It was shot edited, vfx productions in Nigeria this youruba the original language used in production but with most movies in Netflix it is dubbed into several languages

The reason why most people are talking about it is that from the storyline to the effect it was too good to be true a movie

Thanks. That's the mature person's answer to my inquiries about Jagun Jagun.
I will go to NETFLIX to watch it. I am an Igbo who does not understand a thing in Yoruba language.

I was expecting more at the end.

From the begining to the middle was very interesting, tensed and great.. but the end was just not what i expected.

The jazz (black magic/dark art), the kingdoms and kings , horses and local soldiers all were epic.. but the ending storyline killed the tension and the thrills.

Well i expected more from the hype .. i got it from the begining of the movie to the middle...

It's a great film but the end was just not it..

I believe there will be much improvements and the director of the movie will do great in his upcoming movie ahead..

Las las .. yourba people sha dae act film and i love their graphics they put into and veey important the story line🔥🔥🔥.

The actors also put in passion into the profession. They act and makes it real not the normal question and answer kind of acting we do have in some of our nolly wood movies..

I can see great changes in our nollywood industry.. i hope other director key into this vision and see how we perfect our Nollywood industry.

I don't watch Nollywood films cos of the normal king and queen, love and always cheating.. it makes you not to trust your relationship.

And from the begining of the movie, you already know how it ends

But with the KING OF BOYS, JAGUN JAHUN,,AKINULAPO, GANG OF LAGOS, KING OF THIEVES,ORISA, and many more.. they have changed the face of the industry....

THE CULTURAL AND TRIBAL STORY LINE IN A BEAUTIFUL FORM...

ALSO THOSE IN CHARGE OF COSTUME AND BACKGROUND DECORATION ARE BLESSED.. ITS A 9/10 RATING FOR ME

I will also like to see the likes of macaroni and other skit maker getting into the nolly wood industry... Honestly speaking they have great potentials 🔥🔥

God bless you guys and to all directors out there cracking their head up to bring some amazing storyline and films that is changing the face of nollywood. U are doing a great job

Pls how can I download the movie

This input is brilliant.
That was a very questionable move

If you want to enjoy this movie, you need to be vast in Yoruba culture, adage and proverbs. I enjoyed this movie. I'll rate it 8/10.

The story line get as e be. The movie no allign. It was too fast. No character development.

Some unnecessary scenes and a very bad ending.

If Oyinbo can make Peter pan story real, why our own fantasy cum dey lack direction?

Its a 5.9 for me.

They fit do better, no cap

I'm Igbo but I have to admit this stupid rivalry between the Igbo and Yoruba is getting out of hand.
More than 200 tribes in this country but they're the only ones always at each other's necks
The stupid rivalry is just simply for political reason, nothing more. Among all the tribes in Nigeria, the igbos and the yorubas are the most integrated aside Hausa and Fulani. They marry themselves, do business together and are more inclined or comfortable with each other than any other tribes. But when politics come, the gulf is created. And the reason is bcs they are the two largest tribes in southern Nigeria, always fighting for recorning and supremacy in the affairs of Nigeria whenever attention is shifted down south. The funny thing is that the Yoruba's have always explored their numerical strenght and better diplomatic finesse to court other tribes to outshine the igbos. If u ask me, the igbos definately would do same if the parameters are in their favour. Remember how the igbos use their well-dominated Jonathan's regime to relegate completely their southern political rivals, the yorubas. Also remember during Nnamdi Azikwe-northern alliance against the Awolowo yorubas, the igbos enjoyed their time not until Yakubu Gowon gave Awolowo chance to dislodge the allowance and birth Yoruba-Hausa alliance which the igbos are still struggling till today to dislodge. I am Yoruba and my wife is Igbo. I also have lots of Igbo family member and friends. The yorubas and igbos are cool together except for election purposes to have a turn in the devouring of the national cake. Kill Nigeria today and see their respective republics become best of friends and nations.

Lol ... But seriously... what's this hatred between Yorubas and Igbos ... It's like inborn hatred ... Like you guys are been taught in school to hate each other grin

It started during/shortly after the war, and the grown ups then kept instilling the hate in their children. And the two tribes are guilty of this... Imagine I met this girl when I was still like 20, and the girl was falling for me... Until the aunty she was staying with said she shouldn't date me cos Yoruba people are betrayals and cheats. The day the girl told me, I was shocked. Me that I hardly speak Yoruba, now someone was judging me based on my tribe...

As I said, both parties are guilty of this. And judging from what I read on Nairaland daily, I don't see it stopping anytime soon.

The writer did a very good job but I will not forgive the writer and producer if there's no franchise or sequel to this movie.

Ibrahim Chattah one of the most dynamic actors has not done anything yet and the movie is finished. It's not possible

Of cos there will be a part two. And I'm excited about it cos of that guy. That end is my favourite part of the entire movie.

I started seeing this movie with a lot of expectations, but it really got boring towards the middle. I had to stop watching it. All in all, the movie was drab as hell. The story line was good though. A lot of things could have been done to make it better. I had to watch in English cos I don’t understand Yoruba and most likely, a lot of things was lost in translation.

I've watched this films times without number, not tired of watching.
The best for the year, so far.
The film is decent, educative, full of suspense and action packed.
No any nonsense display of breast or ritual affluence.
Anybody can watch it at anytime.
Kudos to everyone who participated in the film.
