Hello,
Good morning all. Please I ommitted a document during my visa application. Is there something I can do about it to add it?

Can the visa officer contact an applicant to uoad a missing document ?

There's nothing you can do about it anymore.

They can ask you to send the document to them if they really want to verify it, but this is unlikely and very rare, so don’t expect that you will be contacted.

They will base their decision on what you filled out or wrote in your application and the documents you uploaded.

If you have not done your biometrics , take the doc with you and pay 12k for assisted service , they will help you upload it . But if you have done so, it's to pray for favour , there have been cases people are asked for additional docs .

I have done my Biometrics. Let me enter prayers ASAP

On my CAS, it was written that my English was assessed with my WAEC and a letter from my university stating that my language of instruction was English.

I included my WAEC but forgot to upload the letter from my University. Do you think this could be decisive ?

Not looking good. Please correct me if I'm wrong. This change has to be done in Abuja?

I didn't use the passport when it was forst issued years ago.

Go to passport office in your area and see the best way to do it.

Yes if you only have a UK visa.

For more details, see below as copied from the German embassy website:

"Since 1 May 2008, Nigerian nationals no longer require an airport transit visa if they are in possession of a valid visa for another Schengen member state, a party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area of 2 May 1992, Japan, Canada, Switzerland or the United States of America."

How Can I address this issue in rejection letter. You state that you are self-employed and generate annual income of 11,000,000.00 NGN. I see you provided a letter to support this. But, the documents do not show your business is active and profitable or generates a regular income, nor prove how you derive your stated income from the business. it is unclear whether you are employed as declared or how you generate your stated income. This damages the credibility of your application and raises concerns about your intentions to travel to the UK at this time.

I intend go add my CAC document to prove business is active but how do I prove the business is profitable or generates a regular income

Hello,

I am about to file in a visit visa application for my mother. She would stay with us for 5 months, my husband and I would sponsor everything. Question is.. hope the duration of 5 months is not too much? She is a petty trader, should I file her as unemployed, since it’s just small fruit selling that she does. Anyone with similar experience?

With this profile, please don’t write anything relating to 5 months on the form. 1 month or less is better in my opinion. Don’t bring out her leg that she has nothing doing in Nigeria and can decide to be away for such a long period.

I have land so I want to do the survey can I write Mr Ade femi and Mrs Ade mary on
The document

[8/28, 1:14 PM] FEMI3: So you’ll write her name as it is on her passport
[8/28, 1:14 PM] FEMI3: She’s not bearing your surname yet

Pls advice is needed

They have marriage certificate, court affidavit of change of name and news paper indicting change of name

But the person is saying since the wife don't have any documents that bear our surname now, that it will be a red flag, unless she change her name on passport, how true is this pls

So sorry dear. I had similar experience. My mom's was refused as well. I filled that she is self employed but I didn't back it up with supporting document. What I noticed is this; people who select the option of unemployed for their mom tend to get their visas approved. Selecting employed with documents to back it up works too. But you see that self-employed, omo... I think fails should you not back it up with lots of supporting documents.

May I know the list of documents you submitted for your mom?

How long did you say she would be staying in UK?
Thanks very much
These are the documents submitted
My payslip and that of wife
Children birth certificate
Alot of pictures for home ties
Land documents for home ties also
Market women association letter
Mummys statement of acct with 1million intact
A very detailed Cover letters.

However I want to reapply but this time I will say she is unemployed. Hope I have a chance

what are you talking about? If you have done change of name. Then use either of the names. After all in the conclusion part of the change of name it is written that all documents bearing the maiden name still remain valid.

Stop promoting nonsense.

See one way prices from Abuja to London from Qatar's website in late September (all below your 1mill announcement) and there are even more options e.g Egypt Air was $590 for 25th or 27th Sep travel.

And yes, to disprove you I booked on hold (on Qatar) and it went through. You don't need to visit their office to make payment.

Promote your ticket sales without fearmongering.

Don’t be a dumb, I am saying from my experience, card payments doesn’t go through and I had to go to their office. Paid higher because of the exchange rate

Pls Can someone who is 100% sure help out? there has been contradicting advice here on transit visa for 1 stop at Amsterdam.
Is there need for a transit visa?
If yes. Must it be Transit from only Netherlands embassy or he can use french consolate ( because France transit visa application and booking is straightforward. Unlike the Netherlands. I am yet to find a helpful guideline on how to book for appointment or apply )
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by puffmama: 1:38am On Aug 29, 2023
The transit visa has to be from Netherland .
Except you get a Schengen visa from France or any other embassy but for you to use it through Netherlands it must have 'C written on it .
