The same question I'm asking myself. Shouldn't the two persons involved be allowed to settle their issue in or out of court? And if the building wasn't approved, shouldn't the FCT wait for the court to decide and then either approval is obtained with a heavy fine, or finally demolished if it was the wrong structure for the area?

Why is it very difficult for a Nigerian to obey the law. When we go outside the shore of Nigeria we love and cherish their ways of life, we obey laws there. But down here we do anyhow and use excuses to break the laws.
