The most important contributory factor to this military taking over currently going on in the African continent is due to failures of politically elected officials to effect the changes that will better the life of the citizens.

I believe France has some oil investments in Gabon. The same family (Father and Son) has ruled for decades with the support of France.

Which tribe is that? I'm sure you're referring to the Northerners because they're the ones whose leaders have been shouting against invading Niger.
Abi are you referring to the East, as those are the ones you guys always tend to target

Hehehe.

Good one.

Watch as AU and ECOWAS rush to condemn the action. They sit down and watch corruption, nepotism and election rigging take over Africa and they do nothing, but once the people react they start to talk .

The west also watch as Africa leaders plunder the resources of Africa and they do nothing, but will be quick to react once the people want to take their destiny in their hands.

Mr Biden, the gay right activist is only concern about Africa only when is has to do with deviant's,I mean the LGBTQ people.
He comes up with his usual,I will stop aid's and bla bla bla once his project LGBTQ is threaten in Africa. But you will never see him talk about election rigging and corruption in Africa.

Africa will continue to experience such actions until they start doing the right thing.
Hmmm! Gabon is in central Africa, not West Africa. So ECOWAS has no business in what is happening in central Africa

The military are no better off. Abacha's loot is still being repatriated from all around the world till date even though he died about 26 years ago.

I am not sure getting sanctioned is a good idea, coupled with the looting Karki boys, and the gross human right abuses that comes with it.
I don't like military interruption in our democracy but if that will check their excesses, I welcome it. Ahacha loot is small, when compared to what these thieves have stolen from you and I. Do you know how much just one accountant general stole last year? It's over 100bn naira, same amount ASUU was asking for, to improve our university education. Do you know how many of them who stole more than that but still walking freely today just because they were never caught?

Check the price of one private jet, then multiply it by 3 and you'd realise its more than 400% of abacha loot cheesy. The owner of the 3 jets is known to you and I. Look at the projects executed in Nigeria so far by the military and compare with what the civilians have done in over 2 decades of democracy. Those refineries you hear about today was built by the military and they were all functioning until 1999. Go and find out if they're still working after spending trillions of dollars in TAM

Don't just sit down and type rubbish. Gabon has a significant amount of uranium that the world is racing after. They have abundance of gold, iron ore etc.

Gabon has natural resources like uranium, natural gas, diamond etc. that France and west needed so much. Moreover, this coup is a direct stepping ground to liberate Cameron from French's grip. Remember it started from CAR to mali, Burkina, guinea and so on. Paul biya must be wetting his pants now,

During 1960, the politicians then spoiled the country.

During the millitary regime, babangida spoiled the country.

From 1999 till now, politicians spoiled it again.

Between the corrupt millitary and fat-bellied politicians, who is better?

I’m gonna wait to confirm that this is not fake news.

But in the meantime, if it’s true, then congratulations to Tinubu, ECOWAS and their brainless warmongers. They now have more countries to invade.

After invading Niger, they will invade Gabon. Or are they going to invade Niger without invading Gabon? They have to mad not to.

I’m so happy right now, if this news is true. Because I’m sure ECOWAS was already waiting to congratulate President Bongo for winning Third Time in a “free and fair” election even though the report of the Gabonese Electoral Umpire shutting down their Electronic Infrastructure, like INEC did, and even removing names of opponents from ballot papers has been everywhere.

Another reason I like this is that the PEPT will see what is happening in other countries because of disputed election. People are waiting on them to do justice, failure of which no one knows what the outcome will be.

Democracy is fast becoming unpopular in Africa and it’s because of poor Electoral management. The situation where votes no longer reflect the wishes of the majority of the voters, their will be disenchantment with the people seeking alternative way out.

If a coup happens in Nigeria today, Nigerians will celebrate it because we didn’t vote for the idiot in power.

If the PEPT likes, let it insult Nigerians like INEC did, let’s see what the outcome will be.
Gabon is not part of ECOWAS, I just don't get it why you guys celebrate bad things just because your candidate lost an election.. Am not a fan of Bongo even tho. His father ruled Gabon for almost 40years before he died now his son want to continue his legacy of lifetime President oh well.. He sure do has a mentor in Putin.
