Glad to see that you're now openly hoping for a coup, making you guilty of sedition. In any case, you clearly haven't learned anything from the events of 1966-1970 if you think you and your fellowed embittered tribalists will be the primary beneficiaries of any coup. If your people failed in their attempt to illegally seize power in January 1966, when the officer corps was jam-packed with Igbos, is it now, under a heavily northernised leadership and rank-and-file, that you expect to succeed? Or do you imagine that is the very same northerners you have spent the last decade insulting and cursing, and who your tribal champion Obi alienated through his overtly religious campaigning, who will now favor you over the Yorubas? Keep living in delusion.
I am not responsible for what you can comprehend... Read that right up slowly maybe your Brian can boot this time

Note to the paid posters here, if there's a coup, you'll go to jail for acting as the mouthpiece for the government.

The President Bola Ahmed Tinubu I know will always stand for democracy.

The elderly Igbo man removed from office in Gabon after an atrocious third-term agenda is the immediate responsibility of the sub region of Central Africa, sincerely speaking, it's not the job of Asiwaju, Nigeria or Ecowas.

We have our own issues in Nigeria and ECOWAS and it's not like our Igbo brothers here in Nigeria care. Check my signature for free stuffs!

APC is also trying to practicing autocratic democracy by not allowing free and fair determination of the elections since 2015.Just imagine PDP doing the same thing whilst still in federal power

In 2019, APC used Mahmood Yakubu to APPOINT A PRESIDENT FOR NIGERIA through Yakubu's DENIAL OF THE EXISTENCE OF INEC SERVER.

In 2023, Yakubu Mahmood APPOINTED TINUBU PRESIDENT OF NIGERIA THROUGH YAKUBU'S DISACTIVATION OF SYSTEM OF ELECTRONIC TRANSMISSION OF VOTE RESULTS OF THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION.
No country can accept a president thrown up from a COMPUTER GLITCH.

It put a kind of pin on ECOWAS balloon as far as Niger coup is concerned.

Not at all - ECOWAS is an autonomous body with very little interest in what is happening outside ECOWAS. In terms of justification, the bloc only needs the approval of its own Assembly of heads of state, the concurrence of the AU and of course, the silent agreement of its international partners. The Gabon coup does not change any of that.

If anything at all, it strengthens the moral argument for interventions since ECOWAS can now argue that if strong action is not taken, more coups will happen.

Nobody can instill unity on the people, it is up to us. Agitations and division we suffer today, most started during military regime, the civil war started during military regime. I think Nigeria is united, apart from agitation about secession, majority of Nigeriana want to be in Nigeria and love it, of course people complain sometimes, it's human nature... people complain everywhere. I don't really understand what you mean by saying we were 'united' or had a fresh start in 1999... how?

What a time to be the Chairman of ECOWAS. President Tinubu will be like "Na who send me go take this post'. However, the task is not difficult for him. He should just call emergency meeting of ECOWAS and read the riot act, insisting on the following points though he lacks the requisite credibility at home front:
- Hold credible election.
- Obey the constitution on tenure of office.
- Don't steal money from the public treasury but use it to develop the country.
- Do your best , allow the people chose the next president and hand over power.

African Union wake and smell the coffee. It is time to change the dance steps.
