The most common weapon in Jesus' day is the sword and it's used when there's a dispute so when Jesus told his disciples to make sure each of them have his own sword they brought out two whereas they are eleven in number, for Jesus to have said it's enough shows that they didn't get the sense of what he said otherwise two swords can't make up for eleven men if each should have his own!

Back in old school days we always chant saying:

"Solidarity for ever, we shall always FIGHT for our right"

Of course we weren't FIGHTING with literal weapons rather we used the rule of law to which both those in authority and their subjects should bow.

That's what Jesus is telling his disciples to make sure each of them have in his or her possession the sword of the spirit which is God's word! Ephesians 6:17

It was later after they got baptized by the spirit that they fully grasp most of the things Jesus spoke in idioms! John 16:12-13

I have always wanted to ask this question.
Imagine a scenario where the you guys (JWs) get very popular in Nigeria(and Jehovah helps you )and many people convert to your organization, and eventually, say more than 90% of the population become JW. Do you think you'll survive? Dont you think neighboring countries would overrun you, knowing y'all wont fight back?

Lying is bad but in most cases people does to escape from punishment for example Peter lied that he doesn't know Jesus, he even denied his follow believers out of fear does that makes Peter no longer a Christian?
