Collins hv played few games this season

That's the point did not play last season and has just played 4 games and had not completed one game of football this season.

He was not outstanding in the Championship since he arrived and now 4 game's and he is in the SE, that doesn't add up for me.

Call up must be on merit not sentiment.

he was probably called up because osayi is injured and emeruo is suspended. And besides it's not as if he is going to play a minute Sha.

Sometimes better to watch the game than relying on statistics.I watched Chelsea vs Nottingham and not really impressed with Aina but surprisingly saw Aina getting good rate 7.

Chavez as a team lacked the edge and if not for Nwakili nobody will get time watching or analyzing Chavez games. The team is too poor.

That's the problem, a player had done NOTHING since U17, and many are still fixated with him it's incomprehensible.

Look at Chavez FC, I once did a comparison of their finances with a English league two team. And Bradford had much more money.

Once you have no money, you will not get a quality manager/ coach and you will not be able to attract any good quality players that's the REALITY.

This team has lost all four games have conceded the highest number of goals scored the least number of goals in the league. Average weekly salary is £1.5k, that means some players will.be on £500 a week, the team is a joke. It's like a non league part time team.

And somebody is giving accolades about a player and acting like he is doing something incredible.

It doesn't matter it's laziness and very poor forward planning by the NFF.

There are literally hundreds of Nigerian origin players across Europe and we couldn't find one to play LB.

Our football ⚽ selection replicates quite often our national politics, always recycling.

It is dodgy. Ihenacho is not on form and is playing 2nd division football should never be invited.
You don't just overhaul a whole squad. Its suicidal in football. Its a team game.

And its not like Iheanacho is that bad na.

He's not among our best presently but at least isn't he good enough as a substitute?
Tell me if having him on the bench isn't a good idea.

He's left footed, creative and can also play as a 10.

Sterling wasn't a 9 at Liverpool especially as the Reds had Suarez and Sturridge running things. It was at City you could try and argue he played in that false 9 role but I think the genius of Pep Guardiola boosted his goal scoring numbers.

Yes Rashford does well on the left. I haven't seen many games in which he has flourished playing as a 9 hence the reason why I say he struggles.

Boniface also operates as a second striker with a bit of a creative spark. You can see he has already dropped two assists in three league. Of our three top forwards he looks most comfortable on the ball. So that's where the versatility could come in but the bottom line is the current SE wingers need to do more.

The reason why England have looked more dynamic in attack lately is down to the quality that players like Raheem, Foden and Saka. England has always had great to good strikers like Shearer, Sherringham, A. Cole, Crouch, Fowler, Rooney to mention a few but the current crop of wide men has given them a serious tactical edge.

komekn:

At one stage Raheem was the pivotal number 9 for Liverpool as well as England. Rashford is very good on both wings still.avgrest number 9 ( he doesn't struggle) however I think he is more effective on the left wing.

Callum is still very good, but England have almost too many top quality forward players. And yes KANE is world class and in a different level as a quintessential number 9.

The key issue is VERSATILITY and ADAPTABILITY this is where our forward line may be a bit lacking. Three players who can only play strictly as number 9s.

What do.you think about Victor Boniface's invitation, is that well deserved or would Adebayo been more deserving?

Who is Adebayo and where does he play?

Collins was an already established SE squad member before he got injured last season. Like you I don't fancy him but it's not unheard of for countries to hand call ups to squad players once they start playing club games.

Look at Maguire for instance. He hasn't done anything remarkable in club football but he keeps getting call up ahead of other deserving defenders. Are England and Southgate saying they couldn't find a younger and better defender instead of recycling Maguire?

He was called up because zaidu is currently nursing an injury

Why are u so pained that Collins got recalled to the national team for a dead rubber game?

Playing 4 games in the championship this season implies that he is back to full fitness so stop whining

Selection by Merit not emotive preference.

He has not played for a full season and has not even played four full games in addition he has not been oustanding.

When he played overteo year's ago for the SE he was far from oustanding.

Time to look at better alternatives.

So how would you describe England's constant invitation of Maguire since their set up is professional and worthy of imitation?

Elijah Adebayo, he plays in Luton Town in the EPL.

Why would you compare Adebayo to Boniface, it's s like comparison of wine🍷to Champagne 🍾🥂, why ⁉️

Boniface reminds me of Wilfried Bony and Yakubu , strong powerful, good technique but not very fast and suspect stamina.

Will it work in an SE lineup with very agile, fast forward players.

One observation V.O. ,Awoniyi and Boniface are all straightforward number 9's quintessential traditional strikers. VO and Awoniyi are a lot faster than Boniface I think as well.

They are not versatile and cannot play anything beyond the number 9, position, so how will you accommodate three players who are strictly strikers?

England has Rashford, Raheem, Wilson who are quite flexible able to play anywhere on the forward line. Add to that Saka, Eberechi ( sadly) and you see adaptability and versatility within the game. If you wish to change tactics.
So are you implying that Boniface is champagne in this scenario and an EPL striker in Elijah Adebayo is the wine or is it vice versa?

Charles say nobody post his stats. That was a dig at me. Besides I’ve not posted stats of any player lately. But I can share stats of Nwakali by special request. Why are we so fixated on Nwakali? The latest list only shows 4 midfielders on it and we are here ranting without any positive contribution. People have mentioned Alhassan Yusuf as well. My brother please can u make some positive contribution regarding our lean midfield?

komekn:

If Bendel insurance and Warri Wolves are playing and your get the player statistics of the game. It's essentially pointless 😒 because the football quality is very poor. Will you then say because the stats are good in that game, that player should be invited to the SE.

Do you think 🤔 if some teenagers scores 10 goals in local Sunday league of game, Chelsea are going to immediately run🏃🏿🏃🏿 to buy him⁉️

You need to see matters in objective context 😞then make an informed decision. You decision is emotive preference not quality objective appraisal.

Finally believe it or not many NPLF teams like Enyimba, Awka Warriors will flog Chavez FC. That's the perspective.

Good development, I hope it sees the light of day. Also, the pitches need to be improved and TV coverage especially the camera angles. Finally, fans are need in the stadium, if they must throw open the gates, let them do it.
