please can you help me, which program can i go for that's related to insurance which is my 1st degree. I want to go for post graduate diploma? is healthy management information okay?

See the link below for PG.Cert in Insurance programs and Colleges offering it

https://www.nairaland.com/6957495/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/319#111601908

As regards a Post Graduate Diploma in Health Management information, I think you can pursue a postgraduate diploma in health management information, even with a degree in insurance. While there may not be a direct correlation between insurance and health information management, there are some interconnections and transferable skills that can be beneficial in both fields.

Insurance involves assessing risks, managing claims, and understanding policies and regulations. Similarly, health information management (HIM) involves assessing risks related to data privacy and security, managing electronic health records, and understanding healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.

Some skills that can transfer from insurance to health information management include:

1. Risk management: Insurance professionals are trained to identify and mitigate risks, which is also applicable in HIM where risks related to data breaches and privacy need to be managed.

2. Compliance: Both insurance and HIM require knowledge and understanding of regulations and compliance standards. Insurance professionals are familiar with regulations specific to the insurance industry, and this knowledge can be beneficial in navigating healthcare legislation and policies.

3. Data analysis: Insurance professionals often work with large amounts of data and use analytics to assess risks and make informed decisions. Similarly, HIM professionals analyze healthcare data for operational and strategic purposes.

While there are differences between the two fields, the skills and knowledge gained from a degree in insurance can provide a foundation for pursuing a postgraduate diploma in health management information. Additionally, acquiring a background in health information management can expand your career opportunities within the healthcare industry.

You will most likely need to attach a Cover letter for your admission application so you can show the admission committee you are a good fit for the Post Graduate Diploma in Health Management information program as an Insurance graduate

Await additional Inputs from others most especially those who are in your insurance field

Good luck...

Good day house, I really appreciate the insightful info from this space and I would like to make some inquiry.
I have a property for rent, which was purchased in 2015, I completed the building early this year and started renting it out few months ago. I plan on using it for home ties and steady income while studying, i'd like to know if deed of assignment, survey plan and tenancy agreement is enough for the land documents? and for the land valuation, is it ok to use a local real estate company to estimate the property valuation?

Hello, everyone! I'm reaching out to see if anyone has received an admission offer for the Supply Chain Management Post-Graduate Diploma program at Mohawk College, scheduled to start on January 2, 2023. I'm interested in connecting with individuals who have been accepted into the program to gather information and advice on the visa application process and other related matters.

Specifically, I'd like to ask for assistance from @Lekiboboe, if possible. Your guidance would be greatly appreciated as I navigate the next steps in this journey. Thank you in advance!

A Post Graduate Certificate (PG.Cert) Program at a College is your best shot

Either a Post Graduate Certificate in a Program related to your Academic background (if you don't have an obvious study gap) or your work experience (even if your work experience is not related to what you studied in the University)

That being said,

What did you study in the University?

What year did you graduate from the university ? (for study gap purpose)

What's your Job title and your work experience?

I graduated 2017

I own an automobile repair workshop 2019 till present

You can apply with it, however, you have to provide strong reasons why you are pivoting from political field to HR field. Sadly, no one can justify this for you, you alone will know why you want to switch between the fields.

Yes you need proof of funds. You even need more economic and home ties that you would have needed if you were applying from Nigeria.

If I am using landed properties/building as home times, is it necessary to state the current value in naira of this properties? Or should I do am updated deed to show the new value.

Also, I graduated 2018 and left NYSC 2020, ever since then, I have been working remotely as an IT support staff with a company in Europe, I also have a an IT business registered. Would it be okay to state my remote work in my CV? Also, if I want to apply for visa, is it necessary to submit the employment agreement and pay slips from this remote company, they pay via foreign account (Payoneer). Or should I just use my business only as my source of fund/employment? Please I'll be happy if I get a response

Dear gurus in the house,

A friend got visa refusal in June 2023 for September intake... postgraduate study at Vancouver Island.

He then reapplied and got positive email from IRCC yesterday...unfortunately, he wasn't patient enough and has called for refund of his acceptance fee from VIU.

Although, he has started online classes while waiting for his visa reapplication, and VIU stated that he can take this online classes ONLY till September ending.

The program doesn't have January intake..only September Fall..

Please, what are his best options?

I have told him to halt the refund process...but, he can't defer the admission till September, because he is not sure the Visa can be granted again.

What are his best options..

How long does it take for Visa stamping process in UK (He is not in Nigeria, he applied from UK).

Please, kindly advise..Thank you.

Can he defer and enter Canada maybe in January with this already granted visa?

What will happen between January and September next year when school resumes again?

You can do valuation for current value of the property in naira

Yes you can mention your remote work and submit all documents related to the work

Oh yes,
If you don’t want you money to become worthless.
But still have some fund in Naira. But be rest assured, Nigeria will definitely proof you right when is comes to betting against the Naira.

As for the suggestion to the landed property,
Think about the gift deed properly,
Are you the only child? If yes then I think it’s cool and convincing.
